They won't do any DLC before releasing or at least commenting on the ending, they won't get any money if they do.

If it's not an ending DLC I won't buy it. :P
I tried playing ME3 again about 30 minutes ago on a NG+. Got to the defense committee and heard the word "Reapers" and exited the game.

Yeah but they can still add sidequests, that's why you jump back to before the battle. Also,Shepard didn't die.

I've been musing on the Omega DLC myself.
Yes let's take back Omega! Aria can even get on board and have a party before the two mass relays in the system nuke it into particulate matter. Hooray!

Agreed. I purchased all of the DLCs for Mass Effect 2 because it had a tremendous amount of replayability and benefits (like Shadow Broker).

But DLCs for Mass Effect 3 won't change the ending, so in effect they are rendered obsolete before being engineered.

Yeah the endings pretty much killed the desire for a lot of people to go back into ME3. I did the Anderson Ending, so the relays are all blown up and Shephard is buried in a pile of rubble (but alive). Not exactly sure how a DLC is going to fit in that universe now. At least in ME2 it made sense, I still had the ship even though Collectors were defeated, so I could in theory go out and do more stuff.

And if the relays don't explode, Omega is still pretty much **** out of luck since it's little more than a station and has to rely on outside sources for it's economy and food production. I can't remember if there were any garden worlds within that system, or even if there are two worlds that could produce food for both the dextro and the levo based life forms. But even if there are, I can see Omega falling on tough times - especially if the gangs rise up and go on rampages to get the remaining supplies before reliable shipping lanes are restablished in that system.

The DLC will be premised on the idea that it's the journey that matters. While I tend to agree with that since the rest of the game was fantastic, I can totally see why somebody wouldn't want to continue.

They won't be getting any more of my money until they address the issues with the endings, and a lot of others feel the same.

But the reason the dlc is meaningless is two fold 1) the ending really negates playing the game again 2) at least re playing the core game gives us moments with past characters etc...but DLC will not feature past characters nor really matter at all in the scheme of things...I mean would anyone have the patience to play an Overlord style DLC (which did not feature any old characters) in ME3

Kind of hard to enjoy the journey when you know a sh*t-filled gutter is at the end of the road.:(

Aria implied that she intends retake Omega after the war, so she is helping Shepard out, well that won't possible if Shepard is dead or barely survives with no Mass Relays in Galaxy, besides Illusive man is dead, expect Cerberus to be gone. She should able to retake Omega herself, just that she needs wait a long time to get there.

There is no possibilty of single player DLC when there are mass relays...and like a lot of people here said that there is point of playing SP DLC as they have to prefinal mission DLC when Mass relays still exist.

Ya even multiplayer DLC would be useless, even though the multiplayer is entertaining, I think most players are too disgusted to even consider that.

The only way I can see any future DLC being viable for ME3 is if based on choices made in the DLC, and maybe even all the way back to ME1, it somehow gives you an additional (all be it very hard to get) ending to me3.

Cause DLC that doesn't directly effect the ending, or DLC that isn't post-ending explaining all the plot holes (I though everything was supposed to be wrapped with a nice pretty bow? Isn't that what we were promised?)...then it just wouldn't be worth buying

And heaven help us if they decide to give us new squadmates.

"Get New Squadmate Guy for 800 Microsoft Points! Comes iwth new mission and new gun!"

But... New Squadmate Guy will just be marooned on Planet Deliverance anyway! Why would I want to do that? What did New Squadmate Guy ever do to me?
