Seriously, it is kind of amusing the way these forums will have people that will argue about almost anything (not that there's anything wrong with argument / debating) but nearly every single person hates the end. Pages and pages of threads full of end hate.

I have faith that Bioware will make it right by us. It just sucks that we have to wait.

Oh, and I know Casey Hudson or whoever said Mass Effect 3 would be the end of Shepard's story, but I am attached to the character and his/her crew so I wouldn't mind a Mass Effect 4, or even a Mass Effect 3-2 starring Shepard as the protagonist... In the same vein as Final Fantasy X-2 but much, much less terrible than Final Fantasy X-2 was, preferably.

It is kind of funny how this parallels the game. We have a wide selection of people with various opinions on various things all coming together to fight the common enemy, but instead of Reapers, it's the Endings.

I mean, we've all seen the split over DA2, and yet most seem to agree that the ending of this series was just plain poor. Logically, and thematically poor.

I liked DA2's ending, because while sad, it had an element of personal hope, coming strife, and even if the disaster was inevitable, that felt right for the setting.

ME3's... just plain hurts.

It's scary how close the community is now. I remember when ME2 came out and you couldn't go two feet without running into an argument for a good while. Now? There's still arguments, but most of the people here seem to be in agreement with one another.
It's actually kind of scary...
