It's scary how close the community is now. I remember when ME2 came out and you couldn't go two feet without running into an argument for a good while. Now? There's still arguments, but most of the people here seem to be in agreement with one another.
It's actually kind of scary...

I don't think Bioware Intended to bring us together in this way, but they called down the thunder now they will reap the whirlwind.

yea I hope Bioware fixes this. ME3's ending made me feel so sad... like everything I worked for was for nothing because Shepard got the crappy end of the stick despite sacrificing so much

Shepard was like a beacon of hope, and for him/her to die in the end really just tore away that warm fuzzy feeling of 'if you keep on hoping, work together and hold onto your resolve and you will achieve great things despite the odds raised against you' =(

I really wanted to see Shepard happy in the end.

SO many people died and sacrificed their lives... I felt sad when Thane and Mordin died. there was enough destruction, but even through it all I'd hoped Shepard would be the light of hope in the darkness as he/she always was and make it out in the end

the endings... just crushed my hopes and made me sad (even if it is more "realistic" but I don't play games because they are realistic.) I wanted a struggle and it was a struggle ... but I wanted Shepard to make it through like he/she always did

Oh, and I know Casey Hudson or whoever said Mass Effect 3 would be the end of Shepard's story, but I am attached to the character and his/her crew so I wouldn't mind a Mass Effect 4, or even a Mass Effect 3-2 starring Shepard as the protagonist... In the same vein as Final Fantasy X-2 but much, much less terrible than Final Fantasy X-2 was, preferably.

I would pay so much for that!! Another Shepard story ALL THE WAY!!... But they gotta fix ME3 ending first....

2. Let fans go rabid and let them will with hate
3. Create alternate ending DLCs. One DLC per ending.
4. Rabid fans, in the ecstasy of wanting to quench their thirst for closure, buy all the DLC
5. EA shareholders light up their cigars at the impressive feat
6. Rabid fans will forever complain at the scheme

The cycle will repeart with their next franchise.

I will not.. I cancelled my SWTOR account over this. I will not buy anymore DLC.

Would that not imply that Bioware did this intentionally?

Also, Watchmen was a great example of how to do a "bittersweet" ending. Just like ME3 should have had.

These are nothing but annoying spam. No we are not united. Their are a lot of people that are too emotionally attached to their game avatar character. Its not healthy. Furthermore its silly. Second of all the ending was fascinating, and i will end up playing through it countless times.

One of the first things I thought was 'Let's hope we don't get the same in DA3'.

The Blight is used by some god child to unite the people of Ferelden to stop future wars or something stupid. Good thing they have David Gaider in the DA franchise. DA2 was rushed but I think DG is the best writer Bioware ever had.
