Barring the funny title the question is serious. Why are there some so opposed to a happy ending? I don't play games to mimic real life in which the "bad" guys frequently win and the good guys die. If I wanted a depressing ending to a story I'd watch the news. Really it boils down to player choice. I may want a happy ending with my LI on some distant moon or I may want to see the galaxy burn but it should be determined by my actions. The only "choice" we have right now is watching a red, blue, or green explosion.
Why no happy ending?
