I have over 4300 effective military strength, but I only have the options to control or destory the Reapers.

How do I get synthesis ending? I searched everywhere online and some say 2800-3999 EMS, some say over 5000.

I think I had 3200, maybe a bit more and I got the Synthesis ending available.

You get the synthesis ending by going to either of those options you have.

Then when the ending plays picture the relay as being filled with green light and everyone having glowing blue eyes when they get off the normandy at the end.

BAM. Ending. Well something.

the middle path is synthesis right path is destroy left is control and if you have all seasons of doctor who you get the everybody lives ending

Alt + F4 is better ending, than others: Shepard lives, Anderson lives, there is no stupid kid, Mass relays not destroyed, Reapers are "disappearing" in Black Hole and... i don't know what else. There's more than 1000 combinations

You need over 5000 War Assets to get every possible ending.

I didn't have 5k and I chose the middle. What happens for you? The middle is just blocked off?

I had over 6000 Warr assest, its not too hard. Can talk / yell at most the stuff and get your way. Do multi-player to get your readiness up. Only take a few wins.

But the ending is still going to suck.....

Personally... I bet ya Anderson comes back to life and throws that kid into what ever choice you picked. That would be some good space magic.

if you have ten million resources you can get the best ending where shepard lives on rannoch with tali, has a little blue baby on thessia with liara, lives on an beach in rio with an little black baby with jacob. Working and living at an academy for biotics with jack . Having an threesome with Oriana and Miranda in an penthouse colony apartment. dying and being reunited with thane. Sitting at a bar with Garrus and his sister in the ruins of palaven. Relaxing with Kaiden in bed onboard the normandy , having dinner with Ashley and her family, being in an Library with Traynor and getting frisky in the periodicals , or with Cortez back on the colony standing beside him looking at Roberts grave , or about to climb into bed with Diana Allers and she tries to turn it off and shepard says "Leave the camera on" , or Single Shep sitting back in a bar on the beach surrounded by friends with a smile on his/her face

ME3's ending depressed me but eventually itll be fixed or Bioware will explain / defend the ending.
