The Paladin doesn't match Carnifex for DPS because of the more frequent reloads. You can fix that by using an extended clip, but then you have to choose between AP and EB, as opposed to having both on the Carnifex.

#1 Reload canceling
#2 Obvious choice is EB. AP is not needed on handcannons.
@ Beerfish, you are basing the value of a pistol exclusively on synergy with Stasis, not a very valid arguement.
Also, I use Supressor with Stasis, and kill the enemies before they fall.
Again, i'm not saying the Arc pistol sucks, it jsut isn't that amazing.

You said it had no niche at all. It has a very good niche. It's better than the supressor for a variety of reasons in my mind like ammo and such. I'll recheck the Supressor this eve but lat time I equipped it with my standard stasis load out one shot would not kill the enemy. We'll have to agree to disagree on this point.
