5mb patch that gives us a few walls of text explaining what happened to our squad-mates/romances/the galaxy as a whole. As irritating as that sort of ending was to encounter in Dragon Age 1 it still trumps the tacked on ending(s) that were given.

Lighting/color changes in the cinematics don't classify as alternate endings; I'm fairly certain that I could have done the same job with my video card settings. This isn't asking for an entire DLC with completely revised/re-edited endings; it's just asking for some closure that should have been done in the first place. Anyone can do it, it doesn't require extensive resources, and doesn't require money. Just requires someone to write it out in WordPad and slap it into the game.

I'm certain there's going to be a lot of people on the forums who are going to disagree, wanting a more complete set of endings with cinematics and all the fancy stuff, but honestly I feel that this would be simple enough to warrant a result. Just saying.

I can explain that all with two words given the current endings.

"Everybody dies."

Yes, even a text scroll explaining the aftermath would be a huge improvement and would give some sort of closure. Not that it would be remotely satisfying, but it would help.

@The Angry One:  You know, that's exactly how I explain Lost to people who are wondering about it.

This would be fine by me. A necrology for Shepard. The current end is so undeserving for a half-god, or a full god in case you played vanguard.

And not someone stupid at the end saying there are more stories to be told.

Frankly, this is probably my last game from Bioware. After the Dragon Age 2 failure and ME3's endings I've sort of lost faith in them as a game development company. I've been playing since ME1 and have save files on both the PC and the Xbox 360 (don't ask me why) but to just now realize that none of them matter because of some "pin the tail on the donkey" style of writing at the end I'm not even going to bother with any of my other save files.

To put it bluntly: I had calculated that to tie all 1000 variables (which they themselves had mentioned) into the proposed endings would take 6 years. It dawned on me that I could accomplish all of the endings in a single day just by going back to my save file and changing a few last minute decisions; not to mention playing the multiplayer.

I had 7000 EMS and I didn't get the "shepard lives" ending because my Readiness was at 96%. That changed because I didn't play multiplayer after I had gotten off work, I had just jumped into the single-player. Thereby, had I spent -TWENTY MINUTES- in a single multiplayer game, I would have gotten that ending.

Edit: Not that it honestly matters because I just looked up all the endings on youtube and saved myself the trouble.
