Is another trick by EA, what if this whole thing is just a ruse so that we have to buy better endings, I mean, what if the true endings are just sitting there, on a flash drive deep in Bioware, just waiting WAITING for the right time to be released as DLC. Oh god, I hope I'm wrong.
I am terrified that this...

That would suck, but hell, I'd still buy it when it's released. Yes, I'm that weak willed.

I hope you're RIGHT, since the alternative is that they're keeping it the way it is... let's face it, I'm addicted to their story.

Holding EA accountable and not BioWare is a mistake. Both can, and should, be blamed for this.

It sucks but I would actually be happy if thats true. Thats how bad the ending is.

I too would be very happy if that were true

That would create a greater ****storm than day one DLC.

Sadly, I hope you're right. The endings have ruined the series for me. Can't start playing again without being reminded of the bleak end to shep and his buddies.
I don't like it, not one bit, but they've got me in their trap.

It wasn't intentional by them, and it would cause HUGE s***storm, but they have to release new canon endings. Even if its paid DLC.
They honestly destroyed the entire trilogy in 10 minutes. I dont care the cost, that needs to be fixed.

Sad thing is they have me by the quad and I would pay to see my favorite trilogy get a proper ending. One with choices and a somewhat happy ending.

This is really how HORRIBLE the ending is... when we dream up **** like this.

From what I understand, EA isn't holding BioWare hostage. It's not like BioWare has no say in what EA wants to put in the game.
I just don't want anyone to cast BioWare in the role of the helpless victim at the hands of EA. It lets BioWare off the hook too easily.

I would only be impressed if it was actually a BRILLIANT plan to have an awesome DLC, like the things we saw weren't exactly what we saw, and yes if it was smart I would buy it.
If they just try to slap together some kind of DLC for endings that actually matter, and say "ok try this" sorry the damage is already done, for me anyway.

I don't care if this DLC costs as much as a full on expansion, i'll be first in line to get it. This will never happen with any game, but this is the conclusion of Mass Effect, the greatest video game trilogy I've ever played. I want my happy ending.

I know it's sad, but at this point I'd pay top dollar for a real ending DLC.
This one.. makes me sick to my stomach. I can't even play the game without the thought of what lies ahead making me turn away in disgust.

If it was true, I would immediatly stop my raging. Cause that would make this game literally perfect, and the best I had the chance to play. Such quality overrides the vilest greed.
It's incredible what ten minutes can make to a story 100 hours long.

Bioware would not do that deliberately - and as evil as EA can be, I don't think they would either. It would be too big a risk. I think they just miscalculated the response to their endings.

That would be fantastic. Call me whatever you want, but I'd dish out some serious cash for that.

The day one DLC is defendable. From Ashes came with the collectors edition of the game, no one is going to spend extra money on a game if they aren't getting something out of it. Bioware put it up on the market place so people who didn't grab the collectors edition could still enjoy the DLC.
The ME3 endings are a whole different story. Bioware always delivers when it comes to the story of their games, so the "It's all we could think of anything excuse." isn't going to fly here. Nearly all of Bioware hardcore and non hardcore fans are really upset by the ME3 endings, so unless they only want to sell 8 copies of the next game they make I think they're going to want to fix this.

Honestly, ignoring the dramatic (if beautifully illustrated) set up...
...when I first finished the game, and came over to see so many people having the same reaction to the ending as I did...
...my first thought was that it was a deliberate set up to sell a proper ending DLC.
I'm not normally that paranoid, nor cynical, but I cannot help myself in this case.
