That would suck, but hell, I'd still buy it when it's released. Yes, I'm that weak willed.

The day one DLC is defendable. From Ashes came with the collectors edition of the game, no one is going to spend extra money on a game if they aren't getting something out of it. Bioware put it up on the market place so people who didn't grab the collectors edition could still enjoy the DLC.

Have you played it, though? They drop a pretty huge bomb on the Asari / Prothean relationship. How can that be considered extra?

It stinks of a project that was removed. I know they claimed it was finished later, but honestly, I don't buy that it's "optional".

I would like to see a fight for omega as dlc. I enjoyed Invasion so I think it would be cool to get a mission to put a good end to the plot. I may be one of the only few that missed that dirty old space station.

Honestly, ignoring the dramatic (if beautifully illustrated) set up...

...when I first finished the game, and came over to see so many people having the same reaction to the ending as I did...

...my first thought was that it was a deliberate set up to sell a proper ending DLC.

I'm not normally that paranoid, nor cynical, but I cannot help myself in this case.

This seems all to likely.

The only path of salvation for EA/bioware here is to extend the battle for earth with maybe 2-3 hours more of gameplay to give this great stroy a proper ending.

Oh yeah it also needs to be free and automatic installed via Origin.

I sort of agree with you OP. I mean how could Bioware not realize this is such a crappy ending?

That would be fantastic. Call me whatever you want, but I'd dish out some serious cash for that.

I'm ashamed of myself as well, but I would buy a happy ending DLC too. I would never buy another Bioware product if they had the nerve to charge me for an actual ending that isn't complete ****, but I would still buy it.

Well I am getting a Bachelor's in Marketing, and I would call those guys geniuses.

I'd be mad, but I sure as heck would buy the DLC if released. Yes, I can be manipulated like that.

Still, everyone please start voting in the appropriate polls, posting in the forum topics, and Like the Facebook page for Retake Mass Effect 3. You'll find the link in my signature

I have indeed played it and I never defended the quality of the the DLC. I was only defending day one DLC in general.
