Well I can certainly see it would be a waste of time. Destructoid's writers must appease it's readers, and it's readers see us as self-entitled fanboys...probably the same as Bioware.

Mm.. Well, I think I can also agree with dkear1 and pomrink, if you explain why you gave it a low score on Metacritic, than that is justified. And it may help get results and a better ending.
I really did feel shocked with such an end to the trilogy, like rising high and suddenly landing face down on asphalt.

The sad fact is, the ending won't be changed. We're the vocal minority here, 10,000 people is barely more than 1% of the current ME3 purchasers, a number which rises every day.

Destructoid's comments say it all. We come across as entitled crybabies who didn't get our Disney fairytale ending. End of line.

Out of all the votes most were displeased.  Now if we belive that it will rise in proportion when we add in the total number of players, it adds up.  The problem is that not everyone is on the fourms, so maybe the numbers in the proportion would change, but in theory the number displeased should rise in cordination with the current proportion. So 10,000 dislikes vs 250 likes(I have not checked the likes of the ending in a while, but it was below this the last time I did) should turn to some like 2.75 million dislikes vs .75 million likes, with a another number in the middle.

They are. However I suspect there made by people who didn't play all three games. What they don't realize is what were asking for is not unreasonable. I personally believe the majority of the people who are standing against these endings truly love this series. I know i do and we want it to be a true masterpiece. The reality is these endings take away from the series...

Yeah. Mass Effect 1 had about 3 million sales, ME2 around 4 million, and I'm sure ME3 had much more. And I'm pretty sure that the people who are discontent with the ending are the ones who played ME1 all the way to ME3, not those who picked it up along the way or really didn't care.

I was concerned about the pandering to the new comers to the franchise...I do hope these endings are not the result..

Do petitions for games ever work?

We'd be better off finding a terminally ill kid to use his Make-A-Wish Foundation Wish.

I think either Jim Sterling at Destructoid did not play the ME series or he is not a good writer. If he is really a good writer, and played ME3, I find it hard to understand that he can accept that ending which is illogical, irresponsible and incoherent to the whole trilogy's theme.

And I don't believe the comments there are the majority on earth. We don't know how much of theme are there and if they'd even played the game. The developers, reviewers and article writers should listen to those who have actually consumed the product, instead of tricking themselves to believe whatever comment from non-consumers that is earier for them to use for their own good.

Thing is, that 10,000 are the people who have already beat it. Imagine how much more that number will grow once more people beat it. Also, it hasen't launched in Japan yet.

With any luck we can stop the Japanese from getting it or we will have pearl harbor all over again at bioware HQ.

The ending was cheap. When I think about Mass Effect in the future as a franchise I will remember how awful ME3 ending was. The game itself was wonderful but the ending was the complete opposite.

Bethesda changed the ending in Fallout 3, although it could be argued that they simply did so to sell more DLC.

Hey, they made that character in World of Warcraft, right?

And my family has a genetic disposition for Lupis. If I get it, I'll write them a letter.

Mass Effect 3 had a few things in it that felt a bit cheap. There were numerous glitches (both cinematic and in gameplay) that were there all the way back to E3 of last year, and were still in it at launch. Not to mention some of the big reveals were lazy and cheap as well (stock picture from the internet photoshopped for Tali anyone?)

I'm a loyal Bioware fan, I got SW:ToR's collector's on day one, I got ME3 N7 day one, but the ending....I feel like someone took all three of my ME games, snapped them in front of me and kicked me in the balls.

I think at this point it's no longer about numbers of people complaining, but rather the right people taking notice. More than one website is talking about whats going on here, and you can make a safe bet that people are going to mention something at the PAX convention. It's now a PR issue that can't be swept under the rug without being addressed.
Maybe you consider everyone on here to be a vocal minority, but do you honestly think with THIS  many similar complaints, others don't have the same issue in other parts of the world?
That's a lot of vocal "minorities" equating to a very large majority.

If Bioware really wish to continue to do good business, then they need to recover the faith of those who buy the games in the first place.

The cheap tali picture makes no sense. Grunt described Humans and Asari as soft but Quarians were the opposite.
