No.

The ending is REALISTIC to the series. That's all.

Magic lights that completely change the composition of all the galaxy's life are SO realistic.

Oh the irony, someone claiming to be "mature" yet throwing homophobic slurs. This looks like a typical example of a "mature" "love the ending" group. Basically proves everything I've been saying so far.

Your post totally is flame baiting at all, really, truly you are a being of higher intelligence.

Why is it that the people who enjoy the endings resort to childish name calling and generalize that we want a happy ending? I could give a rat's ass about a picket fence 'happily ever after', I just want some actual freaking variety that meshes with the story.

Unless you're a troll, in case, good show, but you're going to be here for all of...five seconds.

No it isn't.

In what way is it realistic? It's full of plot holes and has no purpose. It's just 1 ending with a pallet swap.

We got and ending that did a few things.

1. Disregarded every decision ever made. Civilisation is destroyed. At the end of the game, one way or another, the galactic civilisation has ended. It would be great if there was some scene after proving this wrong, but there isn't. Quite the opposite. We're told that space travel is done and over. What were we fighting for for 3 games if civilisation is destroyed anyway?

2. I didn't want a happy ending. Sad endings are usually better. But this wasn't a sad ending. it was barely an ending. I would have been fine it millions died, if shep died, if the whole crew died. But that isn't what this is about. This is about an ending that insults every fan of the series by not only taking away our choice, but by telling us that our choices didn't even matter in the first place.

The reader-writer contract has been broken. Sunshine and bunnies wouldn't save it either. Bioware has utterly failed to give closure to the threads they've built over the last few years, instead opting to give us one "ending" that is so "lolimportant" that absolutely nothing else we've done is worth mentioning.

This thread isn't even worth responding, but I ask you, by ripping the story into pieces and trying to understand how they fit each other from a logical perspective, you are saying this is mature and realistic?

Maturity is about being rational, the ending was far from being rational. It was more like a broken record. What's severely pissing me off is the big logical gaping hole that I can see clear through and any individual with decent logic/critical thinking skills can see through.

You tell me that doesn't exist when you do some critical thinking and back it up with evidence. When you do that, then we will talk.

Perhaps I would give this thread credibility if you constructed your argument in a more eloquent format. Until then you are swimming dangerously close to troll waters.
