why isnt this in the main game if its suppose to literally be a main theme for the game/ending??? I have the CE copy, and I felt that the main game is substantial.. I think.. but The Protheans have been rumored and taked about since ME1, even in the books everything, just for it to be a DLC character??

I have yet to get the DLC yet. Running through ME2 again atm. But if it is integral as you say, I will be a little pissed at missing out on it because I saved 9.99 on day one.

As for prothy not being in the main game...well thats a dead horse argument and you are a bit late to the party...some say money grabbing others say it was developed after the main game.

either way the prothean's presence is vastly diminished.

Lol, Javik's reasoning is so flawed. The geth AND EDI would seriously disagree with you about already knowing their purpose and goals in life, or even reason for continued existence. Also: "Then you gave them the power to surpass you"--that happens (generally) with parents and children, and you don't see children killing their parents all the time, do you?

The DLC isn't integral; Javik is a warrior, not a scientist or leader (not really). He doesn't know anything more than you do about how to fight the Reapers effectively.
