I found out, by accident, that there is a big glitch in the main menu, while the "Please wait while we connect to EA servers" message is freezing your game.

If you're impatiently waiting for the 20th time for this message to go away so you can just start playing, and feverishly clicking a button out of frustrated impatience, then an interesting bug will happen. For every time you click the button druing the "waiting period", another copy of the menu will open. So you could have 20 copies of the load saved game window open in game, all on top of each other. If you were clicking the resume button, you'll have loading screen tips flying by every half a second.
