I mean... I finished the game 30 seconds ago, and seriously... I know the part that nobody seems to like, right after you get into the Conduit, that's the part where everything is revealed.

and Actually... I thought it was pretty decent. Of course it is not AS GOOD AS the original ending that has been leaked with the script, thanks to Microsoft's incompetency, but I actually thought it was extremely sad and heartbreaking... all three options we're extremely decisive and I felt like I actually had a real choice. Yeah the Reaper's actual goal is pretty dumb, but I kinda expect that from the Reapers, I mean, they are OP spaceships sleeping in Dark Space by millions, and programmed to destroy civilization whenever that civilization is advanced enough, and they're actually doing it by a conventionnal war... with troopers and casualties and stuff.

Considering they could just nuke everything in a surprise blitzkrieg then harvest the bodies, or indoctrinate in seconds... they're ****ing dumb and lame and I expect no less from their dumb and lame goal. And that little boy God thing, it's (he's ?) also pretty ****ing lame and dumb because he's the mastermind behind it...

the concept that these choices had no ''Renegade/Paragon'' options was great, but considering my Shepard's psychology of a strong independant women, fighting for the one she loves and devoted to her cause, I chose synthesis. She had to die, but at least she let as a legacy a world of peace for everybody, where organics and machines are not united as a single unique eternal and happy specie. and I thought it was actually pretty cool. For a Shepard that considered an Artificial Intelligence and a Geth as friends, this is the kind of world she'll like.

and for my personnal tastes, I think this is the kind of awesome world I'd like to live on.

So yeah, I enjoyed the ending and I'm the 1%. Haters gonna hate.

Yeah man, if those Reapers are allowed to continue, everybody will die.

It's far better to blow up all the mass relays, causing system wide devastation everywhere in the galaxy and kill everyone.

... wait..

It was bad. And whats this with Microsoft? Microsoft was only involved in the first Mass Effect.

Summer 2011, Microsoft ****ed up by releasing an early totally incomplete demo of ME3 on Xbox LIVE, that included the entire script of the game. from that we know that they changed the ending and at least the beggining of the game (there was a real trial instead of that ''oh yeah the reapers are here now''.)

I'm still so devasted that I can't play ME1, ME2, or ME3.

I am not alone, thousands agree with me.

Its bad when dire hard fans are so repulsed that can't even play the previous titles.

No, it's THAT bad. Even if you like the idea of what they did, it all ended to fast. Citadel and Relays blow up, Reapers die, Normandy crashes, credits. So many loose ends untied.

Simple point - Mass Effect universe cannot exist without Mass Relays ... I mean come on are you that blind ... they said they will make games in this universe and DLCs to come

Except for the part where a relay blowing up devastates an entire solar system.
You know, this being the entire reason why Shep is incarcerated in ME3 to begin with.

I could live with these endings, provided i had some sort of closure on my crew, on the fleets, on my home...and of course if i got to find the LI (ONCE ...again...*sigh*) and have children. Blue ones at that. It would be nice to be rewarded with SOME sort of info about how life changed after the destruction of the gates and how the known universe rebuilt.

Its a depressing ending, but the commander DID defeat the reapers. The price was very high, but we knew it would be.

I admit, this one hurts...a lot. Felt like a punch in the gut. We have enough chaos in reality, did we really need...this in a game? Bioware had better make some damn good DLC and hold hope for a ME4. Course after this i doubt i ever buy their products again.

I'd enjoy it too if all endings didn't lead to my crew being stranded god knows where till they die. This despite the fact that Shepard just accepts that created machines such as the Geth and EDI will always rebel against their creators.... even though WE JUST SPENT THE LAST 25 HOURS OR SO PROVING THAT WASN'T THE CASE!!!! *facepalm*

What was the original leaked ending? If I'm allowed to ask that

Also, yes it was that bad. I've played ME1,2 for hundreds of hours, read the books, and I don't think I'll ever play any of the games again. I'm just so put off, it's so pointless.

It was worse than "that bad".

I mean there is so much crap that was thrown in there and makes no sense that you just end the game feeling bewildered.

Machines coming to wipe out all existence, so they dont create machines and have a war? Wait.... what?

Normandy fleeing from the war (and potentially BLOWN UP by a light designed to CONTROL reapers in one of the options). Not to mention they SOMEHOW have my squad that charged the god damn beam with me 10 minutes earlier. Picked them up 100 yards infront of harbinger right?

Thats just scratching the surface for everything that is wrong wtih the ending.

Basically if it was possible to f*** something up, bioware succeeded.

Well... once the game is done your save is shipped back before the invasion of the Cerberus base, so every goddamn DLCs will happen prior to that point.

and, other games can be prequels to the original trilogy. and it seems this new world (Synthesis ending) can actually live without Relays... Anyway, considering these choices we're massive and changed the entire ****ing Milky Way, you can't make any kind of legitimate continuity after that point, that may work for all three endings.

everything related to Mass Effect released after this date will be prequel or taking place in a specific ending that will become the canon, which won't happen because this trilogy has no canon.
