Soooo, remember how long it took us to figure out the mechanics of Mass Effect 2's suicide mission?
How long do you think it'll take us to figure out all the mechanics behind every single story element of Mass Effect 3? When that does happen, can someone here PLEEEASE sticky a guide? This comes from a broken soul who couldn't resolve the Quarian-Geth conflict peacefully.
Us meta-gamers are screwed.

to aid you with your geth-quarian thing I was told you need hella high paragon in ME2 to make it happen. I know I was max rep and didn't even get the option.

Rewrite heretics, destroy collector base, make every possible pro geth choice. Legion is still gonna die though

Quarian-Geth has already been figured out, actually. There's a small amount of math behind it, but basically, if you rewrote the heretics in 2, but do everything possible in 3, you should be fine.

You need to have max reputation. That or very high reputation. I had the same problem.

Actually, pomrink, rewriting the heretics makes it harder. Destroying them ups your chances of brokering a peaceful resolution. But if you manage to make peace and the heretics were rewriten anyway, I assume the geth war assets will be worth more.

Yes, but the Quarians are worth less. I'm not sure which option is better overall.

Quarian-Geth conflict is documented.
Hard requirements:
Tali alive through ME2
Legion alive through ME2
Do the Geth Fighter Squadron Mission in ME3
[ Pretty sure you need ot do Legion's Loyalty Mission as well ]
7 point scale, you need at least a 5 to be able to allow both to coexist.
2 Points: Legion House Divided, Destroy the heretics -- Reason for this is the Quarians suffered far less in their attack, so they don't have as much immediate need for vengeance/blood.
2 Point: Save Tali from Exile in ME2
1 Point: Broker Peace between Tali and Legion in ME2 [the scene after you have completed both of their Loyalty Missions]
1 Point: Complete Rannoch Admiral Koris (ME3)
1 Point: Save Admiral Koris in above Mission (ME3)
Then you have a 4 bar Paragon persuade to get the Quarian Fleet to stand-down.

We might get lucky and find it in game files... still digging through those.

lol, I think a lot of people are missing the point of this topic......
What I mean is that there are hidden values to achieving certain outcomes through ME3's story similarly to how there were hidden values to successfully traversing the Suicide Mission. Since there are SO MANY freaking variables in this game, how long do you think it'll take us to properly document how to achieve each?
