I will be usuing ashley after act 1 and i wwant know a good build
I tried setting her up has assualt rifle pro but she keeps whipping out her sniper (shes copying me its so cute)
So i think any who played insanity yet, is ashley a good shot? will she be worth the sniper perks even if i snipe too?
All i use is the widow hardly touch my smg's
But i dont want to get to a level and get swarmed
which brings me to my final choice
Who be a great allie for us 2?
oh my bonus power is slam (atm early days)

I'm a Ashley fan but she really doesn't bring much to the table. Her squad electro ammo is good but doesn't infiltrator already have that?
Has anybody experimented with Marksman? Does it make a difference at high levels.

Is Marksman available as bonus power? I know most of the squad mates offer two bonus powers, but I don't think I unlocked a second one for her...maybe not even a first one, can't remember now.
Yes

i am an infiltrator and would love to use ashley more. also have slam bonus power early on..so i can do biotic combo's with liara
Energy drain will eventually be a good bonus power (don;t have it yet) to counteract shields in one shot as i assume concussive shot does not. But it will be pointless in geth missions as you would rather use sabotage.
Also you will now have a powers for armour and barrier/shield with the combo of incinerate and drain.
If you don;t have energy drain garrus is a must with overload.
But that counts out liara's ever useful singularity and stasis
I'm stuck between energy drain and armour peircing ammo.
The theory is if i use armour piercing ammo I can use a lighter sniper rifle with similar peircing effects as the widow and enjoy better cool down times for powers
Or if i use energy drain and have ashley by my side (for perosnal reasons) then it frees up the 3rd slot for mandatory mission character/ character for a set enemy (liara crowd control)/ easter eggs (bringing javick to see his reaction etc)

Honestly, with the combat classes, neither Ashley nor Vega are really the best to bring along.
Why? They all can Tank, they can cover all defenses, and they're Alliance marines. They fit together rather well.

In the final mission as an engineer, I brought Ashley & Vega and we pretty much moped the floor. Seriously, give Ash a great assault rifle and maximize her Marksman and watch her rip everything to shreds.
Really? What's the time duration for maxed out Marksman?

it makes assault guns rapid fire and/or more accurate?
So should would a good strategy be to evolve the power to be more accurate and equip her with a rapid firing innacurate rifle. Hence making up for the shortcoming.
And you can equip her with a mattock/chakram launcher and evolve the power to be rapid firing.
Is that how it works?

2. Pair off with Javik or Liara.
3. Enjoy your constant tech/biotic detonations.

I upgraded her Alliance officer so that she had Weapons Bonus Damage of 45% and Health/Shields bonus of 75%.
I really like to give her the Geth Pulse Rifle for Assault weapon and the Raptor for Sniping. Both are excellent weapons to go with Marksman.
