I see all this talk about how your chosen squaddies get magically beamed up to the Normandy but I was wondering why ANY of them were there. Thinking about it, it doesn't make sense to me. In the London camp they're all there (I suppose through space magic because, wasn't Cortez's shuttle damaged?). They're all on Earth. Earth which is a battlefield that needs all the soldiers they can get. So, even if they could go back to the Normandy, what's the point?

It wastes resources to get them down and then back up.

A few of them would just been sitting there twiddling their thumbs. I mean what's Javik going to do? Rage about how inferior the ships are to the Protheans'? I can maybe see Tali being useful in engineering but you already have the Normandy team. EDI gets a pass since she's actually the Normandy. They should have been ground forces like it seems all the surviving, non squad ME2 squaddies were.

So now the ending makes even less sense.

Urgh, space magic. <_<

Yeah, that's one of the main problems I have with the endings.
