This happened to me today. Was on phone with ea support for 2 hrs and they can't fix it. They said I'll have to use another gamertag and start over from mass effect 1. I've bought all the DLC and now they expect me to buy it all over again. Any fix yet?
compensation for people that experiancing Black Screen at start up?

This crap might be the last straw. Fix this. Fix it a week ago.
..and I blood yell expect at least some conciliatory gesture for having to put up with it. This, out of NOWHERE.. this is just unacceptable on every possible level to have let slip through the cracks of QA.

It's about organization, not evasion. Ten threads about the exact same subject does more harm than good, especially if the original thread is still active.

I have a friend in the states that contacted me this evening who is having this same issue as posted, is there a fix? He spoke with Xbox who told him to open a new gamer tag and gave him three months live free, then spoke with EA who told him they are aware but there is no fix....He plays other games online and doesn't want to have two accounts, any help appreciated.

Yeah my game has been dead since April. Its pure B.S. I have a CE Collectors edition that is absolutely useless now.

there is a fix for the black hole, check the group in my signature. However I do belive that since Bioware sold us a defective product and we were responsible for fixing it they do owe us something. I belive that some free DLC would be nice (free for those affected, not free for others maybe similar to LOTSB), also 10,000,000 Credits would not hurt (not so many when you think about it).
