Yeah, the whole, "We're above your comprehension" and then having the Catalyst tell us what the point of the Reapers was is kind of self defeating. I'd rather have not known why the Reapers did what they did, again, they said they were above our understanding.

The Reapers became progressively less and less threatening as more and more was revealed about them. Sovereign was a very effective villain, and highly menacing. Harbinger was hard to take serious, and the Catalyst was just plain terrible.

i would have rather it showed me that the reapers were LIEING. that they have weaknesses all the same, and they could be killed.
