So I cannot play multiplayer at all. My internet at my house is very suckish and I really can only surf the web and download dlc slowly. I currently have about 3460 war assets (thats calculating the 50% galactic rediness into it) before hitting the cerberus base. I read that to get the best ending I must get at least 4000 war assets. Am I missing something?
If I cannot achieve a perfect ending without multiplayer, I'm deeply dissapointed in BIoware.

It's harder, but:
Your Effective Military Strength, or EMS, the Third line on the War Assets Terminal, is what you need to get to around 4000.
Difficult, but be a completionist (do everything) and you should be fine.

I did all the side missions in Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2
I scanned every system for war assets in ME3
I brought peace between the quarians and Geth
I did all the N7 missions
I did all the side quests I found on missions or on the citadel in ME3
