For those of us unable to ACTUALLY play multiplayer due to various reasons. could you release a patch or DLC to help us get the perfect ending.

or you could DLC another ending, but I just want Shep to live.

Shepard can live. You just need to pick the Destroy ending and have a certain number of war assets.

Doing multiplayer has nothing to do with the endings; it's entirely possible to get the "best" endings (for varying interpretations of the word "best") in singleplayer alone. You just have to work at it and gather more War Assets.

heres the thing. I DID FRICKEN EVERYTHING POSSIBLE IN ALL THE GAMES!

all of the side quests in ME1 ME2 and ME3'
All the scanning

I chose the destroy ending, but I still die with only about 3500 assets after 50% were taken away.

Just do every side mission and you can get enough war assets for the "best" ending without going to MP. You don't even need to import a character from ME1/ME2 to manage this.

Edit: whoops, posted as the same time as you. That's odd, I got about 4.5k assets by the end of the game without doing MP.

I think he means an ending where Shep lives and is reunited with his LI.

Not the 10 second cutscene which shows shepard take a single gasp from beneath a pile of rubble.

does NG+ give you more assets?

I heard that the NG+ ending is actually the Stargazer talking to the child, which supposedly doesn't appear for players who didn't import an ME2 save. But I haven't finished my second playthrough yet, so I don't know for sure.

I don't see why Shepard can't just call Admiral Hackett for an evac shuttle. Before the explosion, his comm channel with Hackett was still open. As for the blind and crippled part, like the Catalyst said, Shepard is only partly synthetic. I'm not sure how much effect the Destroy ending would have on him/her.
