Where did we see it though? On Rannoch when she took off the mask or the LI photo in Shep's room?
The photo in Shep's room. It wasn't a big deal to me. I wouldn't have known if I wasn't on these forums, and it's not like Bioware hasn't used real people before. We have Sheploo, Miranda, and Tallis from DA2 that all use a real person's face.

if you choose to ally the geth at the expense of the Quarians, the geth wipe them out and Tali jumps off a cliff because of the grief.
we see her face later when Shepard is looking at a framed picture of Tali. it took about 10 hours after release for someone to find out that the picture used in the frame was actually a stock photo found on web page and BW adjusted it to look 'more alien.' when you see the photos side-by-side it's laughable how bad of a job they did rendering the photo. terrible chop job.

That would be a huge slap to gamers ..
"We are happy to announce we fixed the issues everyone was upset about, and provided more alterntaive conclusions in which decisions have a greater impact. For only $10 you can add it to your game."

I agree with this 100%. One of the interesting things about this whole reaction to the ending of the game is for once, on the whole, those who could be labelled 'complainers' are coming across quite reasonable (alibiet, quite passionately).
On the other hand, the people who enjoyed the endings are more incline to recduce to name calling and outright insults (calling people childish, or f**s, or 'entitled'). Not all, certainly but it seems to me to be more often the case.
The only way to be taken seriously is to present the case seriously.
(I don't want to give the impression I hold any hope it will amount to anything. The only real hope is the Dev team might understand why they are getting the strong negative reaction they are getting.)

I feel we've actually been pretty civil so far... I had never really partaken of the BSN before and had no idea of it's "reputation" until I finished ME3 really. I've been here since I finished ME3... hanging out my window... mad as hell. Not gonna take it anymore.

This.
Seriously, I liked Mass Effect 3. I liked it a lot.... but sadly the endings just ruined it for me. It gave me a sense of my actions not having any meaning along with any relationships I made being a waste of time. At the very least, have a decent ending where if Shepard lives the Normandy Crew doesn't get blasted away and/or the LI is there with Shepard. On top of that, have a decent narrative that explains the consequences of your actions better, the fate of Shepard and compatriots, the fate of other species, etc. You know... kind of like how the epilogue to Dragon Age: Origins went over your actions and told you the consequences of what you did along with where the other characters are now.
And hey, I was also expecting a really bad ending where Shepard fails. Or even if Shepard dies, the crew of the Normandy is around to pay respects.
I guess my overall beef and question about the endings is this..... how did you go from having a great story for ME3 (and the series in general) to having the endings we got now? Seriously, everything was fine up until that point and I want to know what happened. And it would be great if a dev or especially the writer himself would explain something.

Actually...yeah. Like I said, I've seen people who like the ending without feeling the need to attack or talk down to those who don't, and I respect the people who do this and see why people would be upset to begin with even more.

It's just hard for me to believe that he came up with that ending and truly felt really good about it in light of his previous work on the series, which was good. I'm just going to tell myself it was because of time/budget constraints...

I'm just as mad as the rest of you, but devolving into petty insults is not only disrespectful - it's also the fastest way for them to stop taking us seriously. Would YOU want to listen to some random person on a forum who just called you all manner of names and demanded your head on a pike? No, chances are most of you would try to ignore that person or argue with them for a bit before eventually giving up.
We're better than this. Don't turn this into another DA2 fiasco. Yes, the endings were bad, but you don't need to insult the man in order to let him know that.

I really hate to take things out on single people. I rather just blame Bioware in general. Because they are all kinda in one boat. And I guess one person alone can't just write an ending and put it in without anyone else knowing or agreeing with. As tempting as blaming scapegoats is. And we don't really know who did what and why. It's all wild speculation atm.
One of the writer said the ending part was from Mac Walters. So its his stuff, his idea, his work. Nothing more, nothing less.

I think the guy already go through lot of stress due to the franchise and his role as a lead (easy target sadly), it's definitly more healty for both party (especialy the fan) to be polite and in the worst case, to agree to desagree with the man.
