Sticking with the game over a longer period of time should yield rewards, right?
That is why the Age of Conan developers are now introducing Veteran Points to the game. This will give players who have subscribed to the game for a certain amount of time a wide choice of different rewards to choose from. From exciting new pets to useful new equipment, the rewards are many and you have the power to choose.
So, reading that, I assumed the typical stuff, small non-combat pets, maybe some stuff to have some fun with, but I was surprised to see something that wasn't in the norm for vet rewards.
Here are some:
Basic Riding Training - 2 points
• Free Feat Reset potion - 2 points
• Basic Horse (8 different colors) - 3 points
• Straw Man (For target practice in certain playfields) - 5 points
Some pretty basic stuff, but now let me get into some of the "special" stuff:
Size Abilities (Abilities that allow you to grow in size for a period) – 2 points
• Arm Enlarging (Make your character a little more buff) – 3 points
• Breast Enlarging (Female only) – 3 points
• Fireworks – 2 points each
• Companion: Casilda (Will summon Casilda to cheer you on!) – 5 points
• Pet: Hyena – 5 points
Wow. And to think I pre-release I thought this game was going to be a great mmo. Too bad funcom spent time focusing on all the wrong things in-game, like I dunno, including breasts. I knew I quit for a reason lol
Brand new AoC vet rewards!

Always had a soft spot for AoC,stuck with it far longer than i should've.The only thing that really struck me as a bit off of late is the progress of the pay for expansion when really the live game is still very low on content for a subscription based game.
Bigger bewbs you say? -reaches for credit card-

ROFL. How 'large' do they have to be before players will be satisfied? *shakes head*
Personally I've played the trial and found nothing much to impress me. Maybe it was because I was stuck in Tortage, but for all intents and purposes the game felt very much like a singleplayer CRPG with nothing to do other than kill-grind. Someone told me that the game lacks content after Tortage; if the latter was bad enough, IMHO, I shudder to think what the rest of AoC would be like. Pity for the wasted opportunity there. Hope Funcom's upcoming project The Secret World will take a leaf out of Anarchy Online's success, and be much better.

I hate that AoC had a bad start as I really think it’s a very cool and fun game. But FunCom shot itself in the foot… again. I think because of that AoC will never regain the subscriber base it should have. Thing is though they botched the AO launch as well but they kept plugging away at it and it eventually became one of my favorite MMOs. Have great gamer memories of that game.
I think they are righting the ship with AoC as well. That Craig guy, who I think a lot of people think, was a main factor in turning AO around seems to be on the right track. I enjoyed AoC a lot when I played and only quit because I was having trouble finding the time to play. I’m sure I’ll go back to it though one day.
I enjoyed the world a lot and my Tempest of Set.
