Okay. Normally I don't get into these things or bother with forums, but I just do not believe the statement about why PS3 owners do not get the Battlefield3 soldier. It makes no sense.
Official statement:
The "Soldier of Fire" Battlefield 3 multiplayer skin is only available on PC and Xbox 360, not PS3. This is due to the same technical limitations that prevented us from including PS3 in the Mass Effect 3 Facebook Recruitment program.
Now technical limitations is where they lose my faith. Look, they were able to give bonuses back and forth between Battlefield 2 and Mass Effect 2. "Well, ME3 is different". Okay, then why were there no technical limitations in the bonuses between Kingdoms of Amalur and BF3? Obviously, things can work. These are just as new as BF3 - MF3. Amalur gave me the Reckoner-Knight and Chakram Launcher just fine. So, external games linking up with MF3 to install bonuses obviously works. The MF3 demo installed the Omniblade daggers into Amalur.
Considering all this, it is obvious it "can" be done. Now, did they make some kind of mistake that prevented this from working between BF3 and MF3? Surely that is possible, but if the other games can work then they should be capable of correcting the problem with some coding or "however it works". At the very least, they could show they care about their paying, dedicated customers. Submit whatever is necessary to Sony that allows unlocks by code. Then provide codes to all of us that have supported your business. I have paid for collector's editions of everything. At least show some respect for that, rather than, in my opinion, is taking the easy way out by suddenly claiming after release that it is not technically possible when you have already proven it possible multiple times in the past and currently.
Oh, I should mention all my examples are PS3 exclusive.
For the trolls: yeah, it isn't the end of the world, but if I pay for something I should get it. Add up the costs of BF3 and MF3 limited/collector's editions and all the others I have paid for. Tell me why those hundreds of dollars many of us have paid does not warrant taking some basic action on the seller's part to make things right.
Thank you,
Jeremy Elston

I think the PS3 should at least get some type of skin/mp character to make up for this. It's not too upsetting, but I assure you I was not amused.

so that's why i didn't get it!
I dont understand why us PS3 owners are missing out, the same is happening with the ME action figure exclusive DLC which are XBOX 360 and PC exclusive!

Here's another gem for you: The Mass Effect 3 Figures they're releasing that come with In-Game DLC Codes? Only works for PC and Xbox 360.
Beat me to it.
Beat me to it.

Yeah that dlc from the figurines pissed me right off when i found out it was 360/pc i would have actually purchased 1. The lack of a battlefield skin i think hurt the most.

There are only two possibilities in my mind.
1. Issue with Sony. They might require leaps through hoops of fire to include any dlc. Cheaper to exclude this player base. Similar to Capcom and Sony North America when they wanted to port Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD.
2. Exclusivity for PC and 360 players to please Microsoft.
I really don't see why we can't get this character when I have Dead Space 2 armor in friggin dragon age 2. And Amalur armor in ME3.

its annoying to say the least i hope the ps3 users dont get excluded from future dlc and events.... oh wait they got excluded from that event this weekend fighting the brutes -.- Like others had said it might be a fault on either bioware's/ea side or sonys. Either way i hope it doesnt continue like this for the ps3 users
