We're well aware that EA and BioWare intend to release DLC for ME3 just like they did for ME and ME2.

And I was pretty happy with the Origin integration of DLC (for PC, and I'm not an Origin fan btw) so I was overall fairly upbeat about the potential of more Mass Effect after ME3.

We all know how the endings go (and those that don't will find out soon enough) and we all agree they're horrible endings.

Some are calling for retcons, I'm not.

I am simply saying, vote with your wallet. Buy no further DLC for this game.

BioWare made their choice with how to end this series, don't encourage their decision by being lemmings and immediately throwing 10 dollars at anything they produce that has the brand name on it.

They chose this end. We don't need new endings. We must simply show them that we unequivocally consider their ending to be "the end" and not support any further content that is introduced to the franchise.

Stop playing multiplayer. Remove Mass Effect from your "Likes" on Facebook, do whatever you like. But vote with your wallet, BioWare chose the end of Mass Effect. Let them know that it is definitely the end.

My respect to all BioWare developers and employees. Lets try to keep this thread civil.

EDIT FOR RECENT EVENTS:

Well
Casey Hudson has responded to the contreversy about the end of ME3

This is now the only effective method of responsible, adult disagreement with their choices.

Its time to chose. Will you continue to buy ME related development? Or will you close your wallet now that its said and done?

I've closed my wallet. I will respect the fact that others may feel they can support future development, and I'm not, in any way, insulting anyone  that does.

I can't boycott DLC, what if the next DLC is an ending extending DLC

Im not buying any DLC for ME3 until they fix the endings in a free DLC. Even if its a batarian squadmate which i would love to have. Its a principle now. Its the only message these companies will get. If you give them money you keep feeding the devil so to speak.

Also I would not buy any sideproducts either, like comics.

Nope, no DLC until this game gives me a reason to purchase it (IE: I want an ending that makes it feel like saving these people and species are worth it)

As others have said, I have no intention on buying any ME3 DLC unless they fix the endings. I play ME for the story, not the gameplay. If the story ends with a big "Guess what? Nothing you did matters!!! LOLOLOLOL" then what's the point in being able to do more?

I, for one, am looking forward to DLC that...

Just kidding, I won't purchase any DLC that leaves the ending as it is, even if it is a wonderful self-contained story or comes with new squad mates or stuff like that.
The same goes if Bioware's approach to fixing the ending is to add more scenes to it that don't really change what happens in it.

As many posters have said, playing any dlc just feels pointless anyway.

But yes, I agree, if you didn't like the ending and are petitioning Bioware for ending dlc, not buying any other kind of dlc not only makes sense, it is imperative to drive the message home.

They won't get one cent from me until we get a new ending. I won't touch anything they put out until we get the ending we deserve. If they are not willing to make a new ending then they shouldn't even bother making any dlc.

TBH with the galaxy in ruins, the crew scattered and Shepard dead why would i want to go back to ME3 universe unless the DLC offered alternate choices and endings, Really i play games to escape real life so on the understanding it is all fantasy i want happy endings for the feel good factor, there is enough unhappiness and sad endings in reality without it coming into my escape time as well.

I don't think anyone has delusions of bankrupting Bioware with this. The point is to make it financially unreasonable to not redo the ending.

I'm not boycotting it, I simply have no interest in it while the ending is a wreck.

you're not going to get your "good ending" any other way, regardless if it's free or not, even if they did add an extension DLC, Most likley it wouldn't have much, if any gameplay, and just add more cutscenes.

patching in new endings is just -Not going to happen-.

if it happens, it will be an optional addition, that's besides the fact if it's charged or not

Good for them but I won't be one of them. I got better things to spend my money on unless offcourse it is ending DLC. :D

Depends what the next DLC is....If it's a brand spanking new ending(s) pack ... you bet I'll be downloading it.

If it's anything else then I'm in like Flynn and not downloading a damn thing.

There is absolutely no way I would buy any DLC for this game without them fixing the ending for free. There needs to be at least one "happy ending."

Right now, I cannot even bring myself to replay the game thanks to the ending. Buying DLC wouldn't even be an option since I couldn't possibly enjoy it.

Bioware no longer have my trust so I won't pay any subscriptions, I won't purchase any DLC and I won't buy any new product at anything less than 50'% mark down and only if they are proven to be fully functional.

I won't be buying any DLC until something is done to the end.

Why pay money for something I won't be able to enjoy? I haven't been able to bring myself to play Mass Effect 1/2/3 since I finished the last 5 minutes of 3.... In hindsight, I wish that my XBOX wasn't on a UPS and there had been a power outage as Marauder Shields died.

This is the time for them to show something to their customer base.

This customer will vote with their wallet. Not a penny until I see a proper ending to a game I already paid for.
