I have no interest in DLC that takes place before the existing ending.

I own every BioWare DLC released, with the exception of Genesis. I do not plan to purchase any ME3 DLC at this time.

I'm not really saying I want anything so entitlement doesn't come into the equation.

BioWare wrote an end that is truly the end. It nullified every choice and action I ever took in the franchise. It made every single thing I did meaningless.

As I stated, they wrote an ending that truly is "the end" and I feel that paying them for DLC would simply show them that we don't care what they do, as long as it has a brand name we like on it...we'll buy it.

This isn't as trivial as a change of game mechanics that "some" people don't like. This was the end of the galaxy as we knew it.

I don't even want new endings. I just want them to know that I unequivocally accept their canon ending as "the end" and I will not support further milking of the franchise.

That'll be easy for me. I already traded the disappointing thing back in. Got my full $60 bucks back cuz I knew the guy at GS. 3 minutes killed the whole trilogy for me.

I will follow you, unless its ending changing DLC. If it is I confess I do not have the self control not to purchase it.

Unless they offer additional ending choices through DLC (to make my hard work and effort pay off), I won't be purchasing any in-game DLC (armor, weapons, additional missions, etc.).

As far as other Bioware games, that's easy. Mass Effect was the only Bioware series I cared anything about.

Unless the DLC is a new ending, or showing that it was all an indoctrination trick or something, Then I will be wipping out the credit card and buying every DLC they throw at me.

Like many of you, I will not purchase any DLC unless the ending issues are rectified first.

I agree with this. Unless it is a DLC that fixes the endings I have no desire to play them. There is no point in doing them if all the endings are the same.

THERE ISN'T EVEN AN EPILOGUE IN TEH GAME COME OONNN! They probably didn't do it because they realized the ending was so dumb that there were so many problems with the galaxy it would ****** us off so more.

I respect your wish for a retcon of the endings.

I will simply re-iterate that this boycott is not about attempting to force them to retcon the endings.

I am calling for a financial demonstration that we have accepted that this is "the end". Because thats the only choice they gave us.

Honestly, pushing for a boycott really won't change much. That said, I simply have no desire to play any ME3 DLC when it has zero effect on the outcome of the game.

Potentially not, but I thought I'd put the thought out there.

Yeah, the ending ruined what was arguably the best video game series ever and any reason to buy DLC, or even replay the game at this point, is long gone. I'm apt not to buy a game from Bioware again because I'm so disappointed. What a great buildup to a tremendous letdown.......

I usually buy all the DLC, but there's no way I'm doing that now. I feel like throwing my Collector's Edition against the wall.

Well good you have sort of joined usImage IPB.  Bioware has really hurt its fanbase between the Day 1 DLC(I bought it before the ending, and didn't really mind.), DA2 ( I liked it, but many did not), making SWTOR a MMO ( I purchased it).  Sadly though, I can follow them no more without them fixing the ending, or giving me back many lost hours of time

Like someone said earlier in the thread, there is no reason at all to buy any DLC for ME3 unless its an endings DLC (which should be free). I mean, whats the point of anything you do in any DLC that will be released? It's all just for naught in the end.

I will buy nothing from them until they fix the end of the story. whether that means they patch in new better alternate endings or release DLC endings or have post game content to improve the endings. This is the only content I am interested in and the only way EA and Bioware can mend the trust that has been broken.

I respect your point of view of course.

I personally don't have an issue with BioWare's products. I have an issue with this writing choice that has effectively gutted one of the most exciting science fiction franchises of the last decade and declared it more or less done.

So I'm not endorsing boycotting BioWare, that would be silly, I'm simply saying that ME3 DLC after these endings is nothing but insulting and degrading, its like attempting to prostitute out a corpse to continue making money off it before the body gets cold.

Exactly! ^^

Hopefully people actually take a stand and demand an actually ending. The game ended but had an ending it did not. With any luck people will not buy any DLC until an actual ending(s) that changes based on the choices that you made or did not make. Sadly, I feel that many people will rage for a week and then go back and buy anything stamped from Bioware- I pray this is not the case. I for one am also canceling my SWTOR account, this is unacceptable.

Done. They did not deliver the product they said they would. They lied about the ending being the culmination of the decisions we'd made throughout the series.

I won't support a company that would rather retain customers by lying to them than gain their loyalty by keeping promises.

Eh I'll keep my TOR account, simply because my wife would get mad at me if I stopped playing entirely.

I won't be playing it though til the 1.2 patch gets released.

But Mass Effect is essentially dead to me now. Even a free "sorry we screwed up" ending retcon DLC wouldn't change that for me. And to be honest I'd lose even more respect for BioWare if they did that.

They wrote what they wrote. Its the end. I simply wish them to know that I accept their choice. So with that in mind, there is obviously nothing left to buy in regards to this intellectual property.

Would be nice if they'd at least port my DLC guns into the multiplayer part. I really liked my Argus for the one week I got to use it.

Well said my friend.

The game itself was pretty good but i agree the endings made little sense and leaving more questions than answers....
Got to say from now on i will think twice before buying another game made by bioware
