If there is poor sales, EA and BioWare aren't going to think "We should make another DLC but do what the fans want." They are going to think "Hey, sales are low, its not worth making anything else."
So most likely I will buy the story DLC, especially if they are the ones the leak mentioned.

We're well aware that EA and BioWare intend to release DLC for ME3 just like they did for ME and ME2.
And I was pretty happy with the Origin integration of DLC (for PC, and I'm not an Origin fan btw) so I was overall fairly upbeat about the potential of more Mass Effect after ME3.
We all know how the endings go (and those that don't will find out soon enough) and we all agree they're horrible endings.
Some are calling for retcons, I'm not.
I am simply saying, vote with your wallet. Buy no further DLC for this game.
BioWare made their choice with how to end this series, don't encourage their decision by being lemmings and immediately throwing 10 dollars at anything they produce that has the brand name on it.
They chose this end. We don't need new endings. We must simply show them that we unequivocally consider their ending to be "the end" and not support any further content that is introduced to the franchise.
Stop playing multiplayer. Remove Mass Effect from your "Likes" on Facebook, do whatever you like. But vote with your wallet, BioWare chose the end of Mass Effect. Let them know that it is definitely the end.
My respect to all BioWare developers and employees. Lets try to keep this thread civil.
I actually would consider this, except that I bought From Ash before I was trolled with this damn ending.

I'm going to try. But then I think about it this way:

I don't care what they think.
They already ended this franchise for me. So if their corporate bean counters say "no more Mass Effect, its not turning a profit", then they might want to have a chat with the people that are responsible for that.
Hint: The people responsible for the franchise no longer being a profitable intellectual property aren't the fan base.

whoa whoa whoa what? stop playing mutiplayer?
you leave multiplayer out of this...... singleplayer DLC i can understand not buying, but the mutiplayer as is, is perfectly fine. AMAZING, i might say
the only reason the singleplayer is broken is because of the ending. MP is all gameplay, and the gameplay friggin rocks
ill give you that, the MP is actually supprisingly fun, its great by yourself for like 3 games then it gets boring but if your with friends its great

Either way, they've made their figurative bed, and can now sleep in it.
Given that, the choices they (not we) made in delivering the end to their (nor our) story have largely nullified my interest in exploring their (not our) universe prior to it's end. So no, I don't see myself purchasing future ME3 content - and if I manage to get up the motivation to replay the outstanding 90+% of the game that I truly enjoyed, I'll be stopping after the London pep-talk.
A fade-to-black there will be a far more satisfying conclusion than what they actually delivered. And that's a damn shame.

I will not buy DLC.
I will not buy future Bioware titles.
I will not buy future EA titles.
I will continue expressing my displeasure on this forum - as well as another half dozen - at being a consumer that's already put forth so much money into a series that was ruined over what is arguably the worst written ending of any sort of entertainment I've ever partaken in.

They are a company that is good at telling stories (minus DA2 being boring compared to the first) and they are owned by a money grubbing game juggernaut. They wouldn't toss out a crappy ending that might hurt sales "for artistic reasons."

Boycott? Don't think so. I simply won't buy DLC for a game that I am no longer interested in playing.
this, I completely abandoned the Dragon Age Franchise after how that ended, I was disatisfied with large portions of that game, but the ending was the final straw and I have not once been tempted back by the various dlc offerings.
I just wish that someone at bioware/ea would have taken dragon age 2 as an example, looked at the ending and went hmmm, players did not respond positively to this, maybe we should avoid it in future.

In fact, I don't even want to finish my 7 remaining playthroughs. Why would I? There's nothing I want to fight for, why would I impose those endings on my characters? I certainly wouldn't buy DLC to stretch out the misery.
Yeah, I know these things never work and I'm just a lone nut screaming at the wind, but at least I can say I stood by my convictions for once and didn't just cave in and give more hard earned money to something I no longer feel any attachment towards.
