I'm boycotting future DLC from this game. Not because I am angry about the ending, but because everythings meaningless now. Multiplayer is the only part of the game that still interests me, and frankly there's not a lot they could add to multiplayer to interest me and make me like it more than I already do (unless they give story content or new enemies to battle. Don't care about new maps or weapons.).

Frankly, the ending pisses me off, and I will boycott purchasing future Bioware games because I just can't trust them anymore if this is seriously the ending they give me.

BW should have made the ending "better" than it is to make way via a new ending DLC the "indoctrination theory" basically says shepard gives up and he/she is "actually" unconscious...

maybe there will be a DLC that shepard wakes up and there is actually a awesome ending... seems like the ending is a nightmare shepard is dreaming and dreaming a real nightmare would be no hope in the end tis making shepard give up = bad endings.
. if this is true then that would be a awesome twist in the story and would make ME3 go out in a bang just like ME1 and ME2

said this before. tis speculation, nuff said

Hell, boycott Bioware. No one is going to take us seriously or give a **** until it starts to actually affect them in some tangible way.

 You write:

My respect to all BioWare developers and employees. Lets try to keep this thread civil.

But make a thread to boycott?

Good luck with that.

That's good then. Express your discontent at your own expense.

Any video game that makes people depressed, even after entertaining for 10 other hours, is not a game, but an emotional blackhole trap.

Agree with this. Hit them where it counts, their pockets.

I'll also be boycotting all EA products, including SWTOR, much to I like that game and, for that matter, the sheer artistry of the ME series all the way up to, but not including, these false ends. SWTOR sub will be cancelled to remove my patronage from Bioware, and I'll let them know why on the exit poll.

The reponsibilities of artistry are as great as its power. Betray Art and you betray me.

If there is no fix to the ending, I will probably never touch ME 3 again. Let alone buy pointless DLC for it.

I'm sorry but i will not boycott any DLC and absolutely not one with the real Ending(after awakening)! I was fine with every DLC that BW made and i bought them all. This is Capitalism and we live in it, and there is no law against planning to make some money, nothing more to say.

Now im hopin and waitin for many DLCs ;)
*keeps throwing his wallet against the monitor*

Cheers

Of course i'm not going to buy some stupid ass DLC that still leaves me angry and wondering about the ending of the series.

If the clear up what the hell was going on in the ending and manage to salvage the game all bets are off though.
I'm def. not going to buy another Bioware/EA product after that though . Yeah they will get my money for this but after that screw you.

If they create an Ending DLC I'd buy it. If they create a bunch of other DLC with no ending then not buying any of it.

Was not going to in the first place. I refuse to buy DLC as i am against the entire practice. Whether you agree or not i can respect, it's just not something i support.

Ending DLC : Even if I hate to say, I'd buy.
Any other kind of DLC: No way.

you dont  have to tell people to boycott dlc. I bought all of the mass effect 2 DLC and enjoyed them (mostly) but why get any ME3 DLC when it has no impact on the outcome? i would pay for a remade ending DLC where yoru choices shaped the ending (who you romanced, your war assets, loyalties etc.)

if there isnt that DLC i wont be interested.

In a way this my original plan, I've no intention of purchasing anything from Bioware in the future unless it's a DLC that adds endings to the game, and don't fool yourselves, if they do create that dlc, it won't be free.

I will not buy dlc, Bioware or EA product again till they fix the ending to Mass Effect 3.  I hope more people - hold the line.

Many, including me believe on the Indoctrination theory and then it was not the "end" it was the begining of the end?!

The writing of the ending most definitely deserves criticism. Introducing a deus ex machina in the final 5 minutes of 100 hours of gameplay spanning 3 games is poor writing. The character assassination of Commander Shepard as he just sits there and takes the talk of Sparkly-God Reaper Child, instead of arguing with him, is poor writing. The space magic merging of synthetics and organics is poor writing. The Normandy speeding through a Mass Relay with the crew members I took with me into the final battle in London, instead of fighting the Reapers above Earth, is poor writing. The questions that were not answered, as they were promised to be by the developers, is extremely poor decision-making. Where does my crew end up? What are the EFFECTS of my decisions (regarding the Krogan, Quarians, Geth, etc)? My love interest? The galaxy as a whole? Anything!?

sums it up pretty good

I don't mean to offend you or anyone who "believes" in this indoctrination thing... but it sounds along the lines of something like a "Government conspiracy theory".
Outlandish, ridiculous, and impossible to prove.

apparently if every fan causes enough of a uproar then BW will change the ending to ME3 lol

for example, Fallout 3's ending was changed in a "Broken Steel" DLC

there.is.alot.of.crap. about the ending of ME3 on the WEB
