Obviously the ****ty cut scene at the end contradicts this, but lots of people on here are saying that the two people you have in your party during the final charge are killed.  I didn't notice the bodies of Garrus or Liara, which is why I'm confused by this.

Garrus was with me, and he shows up on the Normandy scene when I chose to kill Ais.....fail.

I've heard that your LI shows up leaving the Normandy whether he/she was a squaddie or not

they can die if you have a low ems - you will see their corpses when shep is slow-moing it to the catylist

Squadmates never keep up with you when you run. Odds are, they were a mile behind you still at the top of the cliff, taking bets on how far you'd actually make it before Harbinger fried you.

In a more serious reply, they don't. I had Liara with me during the mission and she was magically aboard the Normandy for the final scene, exiting after Joker and EDI.

the problem here is your never allowed to actually save the game here so your stuck in trying to test this.

I had Garrus and Liara with me during the charge, I had thought those were their bodies at that the base of the transporter that you see sprawled on the ground right as you stagger those last few steps but wasn't certain with the way the camera worked.

Had a EMS of around 6440 (spent a lot of time goofing in MP, whee... ).

But then... The ending cutscene had Joker, Liara and Ravik all getting out of the Normandy and looking at the jungle.

I really don't understand WTF happened there at all.

Perhaps the Normandy is just a manifestation/reminder of Joker's death. Which begs the question, why is it there for your squadmates? Still, I fail to see how it's only them on the ship (not the rest of the Normandy crew that isn't in your squad)

I bet then dont even follow you. Thats the answer to magic teleportation question.

You teammates all think you are mad, so when you charge into some weirld looking death ray, they run back to the normandy that waits to pick them up and gtfo.

And sequence about normandy is actually revenge for abandoned shepard.
