I have been a fan of the Mass effect series for a number of years. In terms of story, never played a game that came close to this. What makes Mass Effect great is the choices you make; you create the story. Those decision made in the first game reflected heavily in the second as did the second with the third. Through this we see the character grow in ways that we don't see in other games. As well as his compainions grow becasue of the leadership. In the end the hope was to all your choices reflected in the outcome. The endings were all very conclusive; all depicting the mass relays as destroyed, the reaper threat eliminated. All reflecting no matter who you are, you are just human. But I have been thinking of the philisophical part to the end that balance must be brought to the universe. However being a conclusive ending doesn't make it satisfactory. I will admit when I finnished I was upset. I had wanted to see the galaxy being rebuilt after the reapers had been dealt with. I wanted to see my shepard and his blue daughters. I wished to see tali on the homeworld in a house. However I felt that this ending has effectively put a bullet in the Mass Effect universe. With no mass relays everyone is isolated. What was the point of unifing everyone in the galaxy just to have everyone isolated in the end? This is what is most distressful, I was looking forward to another game not with shepard of couse but somewhere in the universe may be a different specter after the reaper wars keeping the galaxy together. There is always a threat to balance, one only need to look to our own human history. So If anyone in Bioware actually reads these I humbly request an ending that doesnt destroy the mass relays, that shows my shepard and liara with some daughters running around, and that leaves the possiblity for the mass effect universe to continue on in the future.
