 I took Liara and James with me in my squad in the end. We all got lasered to death (except Shepard, who barely survives).

I finish the game (picked to control the Reapers) and in the scene before the credits... Normandy crash lands on a jungle planet and Joker, Liara and Garrus get off.

How did Liara go from getting lasered on Earth to ending up back on the Normandy?

And is the significance of that scene? Where is everyone else (like EDI)?What.
