I finished it last night and...yeah...I feel just absolutely betrayed. I'm still in shock from it, I think - I took the save after the credits that put me back before the Cerberus base, and I'm going around now in a stupor making sure I have 100% resources, every single thing, in the hopes that somehow, if everything is complete, it'll be better.

But I know it won't, and that's making me cry now...I planned to immediately start either a new game plus or another playthrough of ME2 to import new decisions into 3, but now...I can't bring myself to...I'll wait to see the new game plus ending on youtube, and if that fixes it, then, and only then, will I have the heart to start again, I think. Barring that...all we can hope for is some sort of fix, some patch or DLC or whatever.

I feel numb...

You're not alone, I want to play it again, but I can't find it in me to do so. Hell I can barely even play any other games right now. But yes, I cried too.

I was too depressed to cry, I was full of different emotions from sadness to rage, even now I'm still to upset to cry. I feel like I want to but the tears just won't come out, the pain is intence & the RAGE is extreame.

I feel exactly the same, I was trying to rally some people who felt the same and making a touching video http://social.biowar...5/index/9775206 but no one was interested apparently. Effffff.

You had a good idea, I looked it over. I just don't think I could do it without raging.

No it does not get any better. But if you want your voice heard louder got to my blog which I have a link too in my Sig , click on my ME3 review and click on the links to my polls.

1. would you Boycott Bioware if they don't fix the endings
2. do you believe Multiplayer should have no impact on the single player campaign
3. Facebook Campaign demand better endings for ME3

Then you should either get help.
If you can't stop crying after a videogame's ending, there is something wrong.
No, I'm not mocking here, I'm being serious.

I am happy to see I am not the only one feeling like this when I played through the game.

I have invested a lot of time into this game and ME1/ME2 to the point of where I really got attached to my Shepard. Then only being able to choose between sad / very sad endings just totally killed the joy I had for today. It's still fresh in my mind after just beating it like half an hour ago and I feel kinda empty inside. Still thinking about the "dissolving" scene that slowly takes place when ending it on "blue or green". My stomach feels sick and honestly don't feel this is the ending(s) that were supposed to happen.

It's really sad :/

Yea, it would be hard not to rage, but I think bioware needs to see the sincerity in our eyes, our face, that we are genuinely hurt by something we loved, something we invested in.

I'll make my own, but it wont be the same with just one guy.

Agreed, there is something wrong.

But what I've discovered since joining the BSN yesterday and reading all I see here, is that for a change, *I'm* not the wrong.  Too many others feeling the same thing to dismiss so simply.

For that, I thank you all!

Give me a day or two to compose myself, and I'd be in, it's a very lovely idea.

No, you firmly not a "freakin' insane".. Or, maybe you are, but in that case, I am completely freakin' insane too. I want ME universe back! I want my Liara back. I want peace for Shepard with Liara on some "garden planet", where they spend the rest of Sheps live with lots of blue children around...
Is it to much asking this?

This. Please, this.

It's like doing the good ending for Infamous 2, only infinitley more confusing and less satisfying.

That doesn't get better.

Not for nothing, but I purposely put the emotional in to my topic heading so that folks like you who don't want to understand, don't feel the same, or don't care wouldn't HAVE to read the posts at all.

The fact that you sought out reading this thread for which you have such disdain is remarkable.

Did you read my replay in page 2? I'm with you. I've been crying aswell, it bothers me a lot when someone says another person should seek help because they are emotionally tied with a videogame.

So sorry Catt!

I'm reading as much around here as quickly as I can and getting lost a bit in all the traffic. Amazing - the sheer volume of posts across all the forums is overwhelming, but very comforting.

It's been years since I spent any time on forums like this (I go waaaay back to the Compuserve days. I miss the "thread" sorting for replies, etc. Guess I'm getting old and slow :)

You're not alone. I have been playing my Shepards story for four years +. It makes sense for one of them to go out in a blaze of glory, but not all of them arbitrarily.

This is not a great way to end a franchise. It could have been done tastefully, like Halo 3, but instead they made it too dark.

Thanks to all you fine folks here for helping me through the last bleak 34 hours. I still feel gutted, but the crying has stopped and laughter at some of the great posts in the forum has helped.

I do not honestly hold out hope for a fix, and don't expect to visit the ME world again, so I'll just keep working my way through the stages of grief.

I felt the same way last night when I finished. While there were no tears I had to ask myself why I had bothered playing the last three games at all. The journey was awesome until I was told the destination was meaningless.

Mass effect is still amazing, and maybe Bioware will fix it?

Nothing wrong at all.  We become emotionally attached to these characters.  I haven't cried in 2 days, then I read that Jack thread here.  I just started bawling again.  She was so well down and I really want to play it again, but it just seems worthless.
