I'm currently on the mission where Wrex asks Shepard to find the team of Krogans that went missing and have to decide between keeping her alive and possibly letting the team die, or leave her to die and get out of town. I feel the Rachni can be a formidible ally, but I don't want the Krogan I am with to die and recieve hell from Wrex. I've been sitting here for little a while trying to decide based on potential outcomes and still haven't made a firm decision....

I saved her. Grunt got over it very quickly and survived himself (barely). And all was good. Plus, Rachni units <3 Wrex didn't seem to care at all.

Why bother? I can promise that you won't feel rachni's existence in following stories in either way.

Yes it doesn't matter at all. Do whatever you want. Nothing matters, none of this matters.

there are other choices in the game where you have to sacrifice a few people for a war-asset.
It doesn't matter, if you save the queen you get a good number of war-assets, and sacrifice the few krogans. If you save the krogans, it is likely that nothing will ultimately happen. There are similar "conflicts" in the game.

Like all other decisions in the series, the ending renders this one completely pointless. So flip a coin - it makes no difference either way.

Indeed.  Nothing you do with any of your choices mean anything once you get to the end.

Hmm? I was under the impression Grunt would die unless I left her.

This is not an ending thread and it's not useful. Shoo, go be pessamistic elsewhere.

Anyways, I chose to save the queen and Grunt died, pretty sure it's because he wasn't loyal in ME2.

nope, everyone but Grunt dies. Close call though. Better remember to have Shep bring a sandwich

It's you're choice, honestly. The only real effect it has on the game is through War Assets:

Save her: 100 for Rachni, 50 for Aralakh
Don't save her: 75 for Aralakh
- 25 for Grunt for (whether you save the queen or not) if you complete his Loyalty mission and he survived ME2 yadayada.
