After spending three games with characters like Garrus and Tali, it is absolutely brutal for a game to end this way. Instead of a natural conclusion, the Mass Effect trilogy ends with a whimper."
That's the pertinant part, I couldn't find it so i just posted the whole link. Thanks

Good. Even if we will angry bioware so they will like
"HERE IS YOU HAPPY END, CHOKE ON IT, ITS COMPLETELY DUMB AND HAS ALL FLOWERS AND RAINBOWS YA CAN EAT ENJOY THAT WOULD BE 30$",
that would be awesome.
That would just upset most of us even more. This isn't an issue that will go away if they close their eyes. This could actually end up really hurting them. How they respond to this kind of nearly universal uproar will define the future of Bioware.
If they ignore us, a lot of us won't forgive them. If they try to play the victim card and make new DLC out of spite, a lot of us won't accept it. They screwed up. They really, really, really screwed up. An out of control fire has started because of these endings and it will only get bigger and more out of control as time passes and more and more people finish the game. If they ignore it, it will consume them. And creating an ending out of spite and charging an unfair price for it would be the equivalent of throwing an entire oil refinery at the flames.
People are seriously ticked off and dissapointed. People say they won't buy any DLC until this is fixed, and I sure believe them because I know I won't. But it won't stop there. What this really hurts is Dragon Age 3. People are already upset at Bioware for the ending in 2, and now they just screwed up the ending of a second game, and the popularity of Mass Effect is much greater than that of Dragon Age. Do they reallly expect people to just forget this and continue to purchase their games and trust they will make them as epic as they used to be?
I really see their future sales dropping if they don't save face here. They need to get back on the communities good side and I damn well hope they do. They have made some fantastic games that I, and millions of others, have been thrilled to buy and sink 100's of hours of our lives into. But if this is what the future of Bioware is going to be I doubt many will want a part in it.
It is truly depressing to see this happen, and I hope with every fiber in my being that they make it right. I don't want to see such a terrific company fall because of something like this, but right now it looks like there is a possibility it could happen. They need to do something, and it needs to be done sooner rather than later. The longer they let this go unchecked the more the dissapointment will sink into the playerbase and it will take a near perfect game to restore any glimmer of faith their community had/has in them.

I play SW:TOR and this ME3 ending hate is already affecting it. Fellow ME fans from my guild are cancelling their TOR subs out of spite to BW.
I don't know if they will be back after their anger subsides (if ever), but in the meantime, our ability to conduct group raids/missions is being seriously affected. Sitting around every night with not enough people to do stuff is getting lame.

If these endings stand, then I will likely never buy another Bioware game again.
This is coming from a guy who has been a Bioware fanboy since he was in highschool, all the way back to Baldur's Gate and KOTOR. I have bought every Bioware game since, and most of the DLC, I even supported them on DA2. However, if this is the path that they are going to take, then I have to say I'm out.
It really is sad, a large part of my experience as a gamer has been defined by Bioware, and they have always been my favorite Developers in addition to Mass Effect being hands down my favorite games ever, but I don't see how I can trust them to keep making games that are worth my money if they keep these endings as they are.

I think what they forgot is that at core this is an RPG - a ROLE PLAYING GAME (the caps are for bioware) - we get into our role and our shepard because they made us want to - they made us as awesome as heck game us memorable heroic companions and love interests who we have been to hell and back with and then just poof crapped all over it. Oh you thought it was your role playing game so sorry - assuming control ---
It was foreshadowing. In ME2 the devs/writers were trying to tell us that they were assuming control. It wasn't a warning to Shepard but to us, the player.

Hell, I'm just happy I'm not alone. I remember reading Mass Effect: Deception and being a member of the virtual internet-mob we became out of anger. We got their attention, we may yet again.
But THIS. THIS strikes to the very essence of every one of us. Graphical issues, lack of diversity of enemies, scanning planets, that's ALL trivial compared to the ending being nothing short of a SHAM.

Agreed, all other issue one may or may not have with ME3, the ending is one that at least 97% of the people on this board agree on. It is just..... so..... Wrong. on so many levels. It REALLY needs to be altered.
P.S. Not as profound an exposition as I was hoping for, but the ending is so out of left field that 'Wrong' was the only thing I could come up with to describe it.

It gives SOME hope wether they act on it remains to be seen. After finishing Mass Effect 3 on insanity ill be done except to play multiplayer, that aspect is still very entertaining. Single Player gets killed because of the ending GREATLY reduces replay

Haven't even been able to bring myself to play MP even though it was one of the points of the game I was REALLY looking forward to after the demo. Just to much shock from the terribad endings.
