On top of all the other minor glitches I have experienced, this one is by the far the worst as I actually can't progress in the story.

On the final part on the mission on Sur'Kesh, my game keeps glitching/freezing.  After climbing up the ladder back to the final part of the mission to defend the pod, my game freezes right where the salarian was standing who said "Restriced area" at the start of the mission.  I try to get in, but it freezes, and in fact the salarian appears and does not allow me to enter.  The pod integrity meter shows up, but I can't move forward.  I can send my squadmates through if I try not to go forward, but I can't.  

PLEASE HELP.  I don't know how to get around this.  I have a feeling I might just have a bad disk.  My Xbox 360 CE disk 1 has noticable color differences on the write/read part of the disk, kind of what looks like when a disk isn't fully written to.  Patches appear to not have data written to them.  I don't know if this is the disk, or if it is some other weird bug.

It's really strange, the salarians are re-loading in the same area and it's like two different things are happening in the same area, it keeps loading and switching between them.. Does anyone know what's going on or if there's a way around this?
