And I don't mean "the disappointing one."
I mean the ending where things fail to work. Where we have the "critical mission failure" that takes half an hour to complete. The ending where EDI ends up hacked, the Normandy's crew ends up indoctrinated, and we end up forced to crawl through the ship killing off our party members before getting an escape-pod's eye view of the reapers destroying earth. The ending that makes us go hide under our blankets for half an hour before restarting and vowing never to let that happen again. The one that gets more views on youtube than it does in-game, because of how utterly soul-crushing it is.
And, on the flip-side, where's the good ending? The one where we see what happens in the future to the characters we've grown to love? The ending with the rising music and the big speeches, the quiet reflective moments over the tombs of those who died, the action shots of people slowly rebuilding their lives? Where's the ending that makes us a constant irritation to our friends and family because we won't stop talking about how amazing the game was, the ending that leaves us with a sore jaw because we can't wipe the stupid grin off our face?
Where's the bad ending?

You have to have really low EMS to get the bad ending.
As for a good one, it doesn't exist. But we're fighting for it.

You can walk in with 0 EMS and the reapers still lose. Earth loses, too, but all the reapers are gone.

But that's not exactly true. There isn't a really bad ending, just as there isn't a really happy ending. In the worst of the endings the Reapers die, along with most everyone else on Earth. But the point is the Reapers die. In my gripe of the endings I also would have liked a terrible, terrible ending where everyone is made into a Reaper.

The much more prevalent question would be: Where's the good one?
