I've been on this board ever since ME2 released in February of 2010. I've really enjoyed having discussions with a huge host of people I disagree with. I kept coming back to hear dissenting opinions and argue about Geth/Quarian politics, the rationale for keeping/destroying the collector base, and many other topics besides. I've often been amazed by the number of ways other people could have different opinions on something I thought was pretty straightforward.
In all that time, I've never seen the entire community in agreement. I've never seen polls as one-sided as these Ending ones. I've never seen people ignore the host of minor gripes in your games in favor of uniting together to show their support.
I know the desire is to ignore these discussions as a vocal minority. I know it may seem easier to dismiss the fans complaints instead of recognizing your mistake. But this is the internet Bioware; people don't agree on the internet. You could start a flame war over the exact shade of blue the sky is on the internet. Some people practically LIVE to argue on the internet.
I've frequented the forums for the couple of weeks leading up to launch and saw how crazy it got. I know that people still have accounts and that they have a huge host of complaints that they saw coming that still exist in the game. Anything from autodialog to Tali's face to the dream sequences centered on a kid they didn't like are things I would expect many of those forumites to come here and complain about because they've spent weeks doing just that.
But they aren't Bioware. Either they haven't finished the game yet or they have larger concerns. I'm not going to argue statistical variance or significance because I have no knowledge on that sort of subject. I'm simply going to point out that you've united a politically, morally, and intellectually diverse fanbase against these endings. You've genuinely pissed off almost everyone enough to forget their differences and minor grievances to try and show you the error you made with these endings.
People have rallied against them Bioware, you made a mistake.
A Note to Bioware: You really do have a problem here
