This right 'cher is a place to post, yes, your favorite character DEATH. I don't mean this in a, YES I am sooooo glad they died type thing, more oof which death was your favorite way they sent off the character.
Anyway, I have to say mine is Mordins, his dialog was perfect in this game and he died fixing a mistake he deeply regretted.
Plus, he was the very model of a salarian scientist.

I thought Mordins death was fantastically done it was extremely emotional and heart wrenching. The way he hummed the song and then started singing was painfull.

Legion. His final words are heartbreaking. He refers to himself as "I". He calls Tali "Tali".
I completely lost it when he said "Keelah Se'lai".

It's a tie between Mordin and Legion.
Legion who gained free will, just to sacrifice it 30 seconds later for his race. I almost cried.
Mordin who just wanted to put things right, talking about seashells, then sheepishly admitting he'd run tests on the seashells. Seemed like a quiet, fun, life. I felt so badly.

I thought the scripted deaths I came across were all well done. Legion, Mordin, and Thane. They all brought tears to my eyes as did Grunt's almost death. All my gross sobbing tears in a chalice ready for Bioware to consume.

Thane.
It was a noble but BOSS death. Not bad for a terminally ill extra-terrestrial. That's how I want to go out. Heroically.

Mordin, Legion and Thane are all really touching for me. Never really care for Thane in ME2, but gosh ME3 completely changed my opinion on him.

Seeing Mordin die made me pretty bummed out. It was definitely heartbreaking to see him go.

Thanes death saddened me alot as well, because him and Garrus where my main squad mates in my second playthrough of ME2 and they had great dialog, leading to me growing attached to them.

Oh I need to see this. It's about time Tali used that knife.
- Mordin Solus, that was such an epic death.
- Legion, basically robot Jesus sacrificing himself for his race, epic.
- Thane, touching father son hospital scene, shepard praying with them, the prayer being for shepard.

I would say I'm a pretty tough guy...but I had a tear in my eye when Mordin dies. It was just so sad.
Legion's death was a close second for me. He fought all that time to free his people, then when they can be free...he must sacrifice himself to do it.
Then Thane's...he kicked that guys butt. The prayer for Shep was a good one too.

I don't think I can choose between Mordin, Thane, or Legion. They were each brilliant and true to the characters.
Grunt died for me in ME2 so I don't know what happens to him. I don't know what the reference to Kelly is either.

Mordin was the best video game death I've ever seen. And I've played Final Fantasy 7.
Thane's was great; it was SO satisfying to kick Kai-Leng's ass and tell him "That's for Thane".
Legion's was also heart-wrenching. I wish I could have got the Quarians and the Geth to work together, but I had to choose the Quarians. I think his death scene is a lot better if it's in favor of the Quarians.
And even though I didn't get the scene because Wrex and I are total bros, the Wrex-Finding-Out-About-Genophage-Cure-Sabotage scene was really well written too. You can just tell how pissed off Wrex was about it.

Mordin's death was very sad, but I would say the one that I found the most heartbreaking was Anderson's death. I wish he would have survived in my last play through.

What is funny is that the characters effected me , as far as throat lumpiness, but when shepard died, it didn't effect me at all.

Tali's death was shoking to me because it was a suicide, Mordin and Legion died, yes, but died like true heroes sacrificing themselves for greater causes. For a second there I thought Grunt also died but he came back limping like a battle god out of the arena. I was proud for Clan Urdnot.
