Still don't like the ending but I finally was able to acknowledged what they are, and just enjoy every thing they did right with the rest of the story.

I'm physically and emotionally broken ...

No wait I'm fine. It's annoying and frustrating but I'm not going to let a crappy ending to one of my favorite series spiral me down into a depression or anything.

The irony is in a game where the antagonistic theme is the illusion of free will(inevitable destruction of organic life), the different “choices" from the very beginning were nothing more than fallacies that had no real impact on the resolution.

kudos bioware.

Still hopeful for some addition but trying not to think about it. The rest of the game was fantastic, I'll play it again some time down the line.

Still doesn't mean it has any place in ME3.

I'm really happy that I'm not alone. I played the game through on the first day, and have been agonizing over it since. It really opened my eyes up to the universe, made me want to help my community, but I still can't get over how ****ty the ending left things.

Just replay any rpg with adequate endings. DA Origins for example. Though it will take some time ;)

I managed to go back through Earth and the ending after a week of not playing much of anything at all.

Pinpointed the exact moment where Starchild's logic goes off the rails. Now I'm just watching and waiting to see how this plays out.

Three days, haven't really ever stopped thinking about it. I'm still swinging between depression and rage. Stopped crying, though, but If I pick up the game again, it'll start again. Still hurts.

I'm content.

Not because I've accepted the endings, but because I've accepted that Bioware has gone bottoms up and is no longer worth my money. It doesn't bother me a bit to take my business elsewhere; I'm only on the forums until they ACTUALLY acknowledge their criticisms as opposed to just saying "We're listening!"

And, since the the other thread was closed, I would just like to also state that I got a good laugh at Jessica Merizan's attempt at explaining Joker fleeing. I appreciate that parting laugh, Bioware. Thank you.

Because didn't the Devs say, way back in development, that this game was all about making the player feel what Shepard is feeling. The terror, and dispair of facing an overwhealming force? I know I dispaired after seeing those endings. So... We'll see. We'll see.

Yeah, I thought that, too. If the universe really does go out this way, I'll bet Shepard would feel this exact same way. Only difference is that if Shep is dead, technically they aren't feeling it anymore. That leaves the players not only torn apart emotionally, but torn out of the narrative, which is two kicks in the balls.

I still want to believe it isn't real.

That.

I don't spend a lot of time playing, but I did take my time for ME3, ready to replay it later with a different path. Now I'm just "bleh" about the entirety of it all. Funny thing is, most games I own are Bioware titles, and while I realize this is irrational, I'm not feeling like touching them either.

Even if there's a fix for the ending, sorry, I mean: if there is an ending added, the collective experience is somewhat diminished, and the trilogy is now less then the sum of its parts. And that is a thing we weren't ready for, as it seems. So close, Bioware. So close.

Still a miss.

peace

Still in shock. No longer angry. Signed petitions, donated to charity. We'll just see how it goes from here on and enjoy multiplayer to wait for any new news.

Headcanoning everything else past the breathing scene.

Almost completely over it. Not sad, maybe a little residual anger, but sure as hell not bargaining.

I'm still depressed and I can't seem to stay off the forums. This morning I tried to play some swtor, but I just don't have the heart for gaming right now. I thought about starting a new ME3 game with no import and I couldn't get past the menu screen. I never for one moment thought that a game could affect me this much.

The more I think about it the worse it gets. I haven't touched a controller since the stargazer scene ended.

conflicted is probably the most accurate in how i feel. i'm not happy the endings are the way they are but it's been an interesting ride so far. honestly, the ending is still a sore spot but i'm much more focused on the issues it's created. we're seeing a pretty constructive debate between gamers and those in the industry. it's consuming when you think about how big this thing really is. i'm glad to see so much that's constructive and the image of gamers to be improved it just sucks that it's costing a lot on all sides (EA/bioware/fans/etc) when this could have been easily prevented in the first place for whatever reason.

if i don't see a fix, i'll be back to where i was when i first played the endings. at least for awhile anyway and that was really not cool. i'm hanging on to hope
