It's been two or three days that I've been constantly thinking/agonizing over the end of ME3 but there have been people out there longer and a lot of people on BSN just wanted to start this thread and check on everyone!
How are you all feeling?.
Any better now?

Slept on it and ending still bothering me.  Also several of my coworkers are playing it and the ones that have already finished it are also very unhappy.   One was going to buy it next payday but he's considering not to due to how many of us are ticked over the ending (we didn't spoil, just told him it sucked).

This isn't going to go away anytime soon.  Four years ago I jumped into this universe and I was eagerly looking forward to the satisfying conclusion Casey promised us.  Heck I even took a week of vacation just so I could have a few days of uninterrupted ME3 play.  I feel like I wasted a week of my vacation now.

Yes we are all here to try and keep each other going. The ending hit a lot of people hard. Im still reeling from the retardedness. My IQ dropped about 10 points over the last few days just because of the ending.

After browsing this thread...I am of the opinion that some people need to get some new hobbies.

Have plenty of hobbies, done plenty of other things in the course of those three days..doesn't stop me from being a bit unhappy about something I loved greatly over the years.

Then you are not who I am directing this to.  I think it was someone who posted "these endings ripped a part of my soul out" or something like that.  Paaaaalease.

I didn't have any problem with the ending. I killed the reapers..... And EDI and the geth. I also destroyed all the other reaper tech in the galaxy meaning the mass Relays and the citadel. My only real problem with the end was how the heck did Liara and Garrus who were both on earth get to the Normandy afterwards. That and no epilogue. I mean seriously it's like "it's over yeah we won.... Wait what about garrus what about Tali and James and what about the now pregnant Liara I left on earth.

I just tried to play a little more ME3. I did the Eden Prime mission right after the Mars mission and then I couldn't really go any further.

I actually haven't played anything else since, which is more than depressing.
I've been on here a lot of the time in the hopes that Bioware pulls their finger out and addresses us all. But nope, nothing yet.

More than that madrock. In the end sequence you see joker, anderson and then liara, kaiden or ashly... my love interest was tali!! I see liara every fkin time and I HATED liara in ME1. Shes ok in ME2 tbh but its just retarded they didnt even take this into considration.

If I was commander shepard and I was dying Liara would be the last person in the world Id be thinking of.

A bit better (finished the game yesterday afternoon) but I still feel a void. Like something was taken from me. I know I might be overreacting but the game ending left me feeling very sad, a bit depressed even. Like I stated in another thread, I have a feeling that the ME story has become personalized to my style of gameplay and to my character. I made Shep behave like he did, I made the choices. And they took it away, just like that.

That is the best....  His face was my face.

Days later...  Still angry, although somewhat cooler.  If anything, I'm seeing more problems with the ending, especially with regard to internal consistency and it being faithful to the themes we've been building in not just this game but the other two.

I beat it very early, it's been feeling better as more and more of my friends and people in general seem to be coming to the same conclusion.  Misery loves company, and I'm not alone in the universe.

I found out about the endings a week before the game was released, and lets just say I was distraught. I have no shame in saying I spent a good deal of time cry, and was really considering not buying the game. The only reason I am still got the game is that I decided to headcannon that Shepard was able to take a ship with FTL after the Destroy-Live ending and after years of searching and on the last of the fuel for the ship was able to find the Normandy crew.

That and with the outcry as large as it is, I kinda think DLC endings are atleast somewhat possible. If that fails I will continue to help out the group that is planning to make a mod for the game to fix the endings

Well since it seems appropriate: I feel much better now. I met with my therapist in an out-of-schedule session and put everything in perspective. I still feel betrayed and I know that I do rightfully so. But now I can live with it and help others who felt the same.

Mass Effect was a huge passion for me, ruined by a broken promise of 10+ endings. I can deal with it and I will come out stronger and angrier than before.

I will make a video review. And I will dissect (with lotsa humour) how it went wrong. I will beat my old passion with my other passion.

Good luck to all of you!

IT DIDNT MAKE SENSE!!! why didnt it make sense!!!

I spent two games where people would yell at me from two sides of an arguement, and id say shutup and be friends, and they would, because im shepard.

and then the star child says to me to pick an ending do you want the blue explosion or the red explosion?

he says i cant make people and robots friends.
I DID MAKE PEOPLE AND ROBOTS FRIENDS.

he says they cant be friends and they will always kill eachother
even though he is a robot and he wants to kill people.
WHERE IS MY OPTION TO EXPLAIN TO HIM THAT THIS TIME WILL BE DIFFERENT
Where is my heartwarming speech that changes his mind and convinces him that it is different
then he accepts my opinion and calls off the reapers?

Its like if someone just took the endings to the matrix and lost and glued them onto my mass effect
disk?!?!??!

Why did the normandy leave the star system? where the hell was it going? they wouldnt leave shepard behind would they? Were all the rest of the characters onboard?

But most of all:
Who was that boy and why should I believe anything hes saying? Im clearly sufferring from indoctrination, why does shepard just accept the options hes given?

AND!!!
I fail to believe its possible to get 5000galactic readiness points without playing multiplayer i got just under 3000 and i couldnt see much i did wrong aside from getting lazy with the salvaging.

SOMEBODY READ THIS MESS AND CONSOLE ME IM LOSING IT!

!!! This. I had about the same, 3000 and something... I did everything as well! Unless you have to search bloody every system for crap. Rather just play the multiplayer or better still just edit the galatic readiness in a save editor lol

Honestly, very depressed and in shock that after 5 years, lord only knows how many plays I have done(ME 1 & ME 2) in the end, never really mattered, the choices the people I helped, that all that time and effort that I placed reading, getting to know my squad mates, was all just thrown to the floor and squashed, that after all the things I had done, it never really mattered, because it has been watered down to nothing. The ending offered no cloasure and the biggest insult after such an atrocities is the text box saying more adventures in dlc. How can you even put that after such a horrible ending?

So answering the question, fully depressed, ruined my whole month and years to come, I was a fan from ME1, and to have this endings, it's just makes me empty and hollow, almost like a husk, sitting in my chair, just wondering what went wrong , still in shock that they pulled such a horrible ending. Bioware why?
