Then there are the quarians on the home world who have no idea how to farm or have no access to antibiotics available off world.

Errr...what? I thought they were some of the best fitting...Ashley felt like she could use some work in my opinion. Especially some of her non-cutscene dialogue. But that's just me. Overall, fantastic game...except ending(s).

Garrus is never
ever
ever
ever out of place.
And when he is, he makes it hilariously awesome.
Garrus, upon seeing a bomb inside an elevator shaft
"Oh, crap."

Tthey felt perfect, are you kidding!? Both were with you since the beginning, and there is even a special dialogue scene stating this. More so than anyone else, they have been seeking to gain recognition of the Reaper threat (Garrus tries to tel C-Sec and starts a task force, Tali does something that convinces every quarian in ME:Ascension), and fight for the people. Since you are the only person competent to fight the reapers and unite the galaxy, they naturally come with you.

Also, they're the two greatest characters in the series.George-Kinsill wrote...

On that note, it's really too bad I won't be seeing my Garrusmance (I'd planned for it to be my second playthrough) unless they fix the endings. I've heard good things.

Quarians have half the galaxy to roam. And if the in-game fuel system is anything representative, to fly accross ONE system is enough to run out of fuel.
So good luck to them.

The Quarian homeworld is on the otherside of the galaxy. It would take forever to get back to their home. Only reason the Reapers could do it is because they live forever. All the currect Quarians would be long dead.Rocktel wrote...
Everyone assumes that travel is impossible now that the relays are gone, but the Reapers made their way around without a relay. It'll just take a couple of years for the Quarians to get back to Rannoch.

I didn't think so. If anything it was the Virmire survivor and James that felt like forced presences. I guess it just boils down to how you played the game.

Lol, that's a joke right? They were both critical to the main plots.

The best outcome is for Shepard to ****** everyone off so they don't help...charge in alone and die. The end.
No the best outcome is to die in Mass Effect 2 and let the **** hit the fan in 3 and know nothing about it.

They are like.. You had happy things finally happen for you? Well to damn bad. We are going to strand you on Earth or some other random planet, and you can never ever get home. Have a nice day.
That is what bioware did with ME3. Anyone that defends this "story" has no clue about anything ME, and probably started with ME3.

See, this is the BSN I'm used to. Why couldn't we have good endings so we could all demean and insult one another like usual?QuarianHIV wrote...
Oh look. A bunch of nerdy obsessed Tali/Garrus fans telling me that the objects of their obsession are important.
Very objective information.

So not only are the quarians stuck on Earth, but also there are no ships.
How many people died in space after the crucible was activated?
