Yeah, so tali gets a brief bit of happiness after defeating the reaper on her home world, but after that she is screwed.  She gets her home world back only her and the quarians never make it back because the relays are gone.

Then there are the quarians on the home world who have no idea how to farm or have no access to antibiotics available off world.

Yeah there's a good point. She's so happy about returning to her home world and SURPRISE you're stuck in a space junk ridden Earth.

She wasn't even supposed to be a squadmate until the Tali nerds QQ'ed 24/7. She and Garrus really felt out of place in the context of the story.

thats exactly the problem with ME3...all the characters were talking about plans after the reaper invasion, but then you give them absolutely nothing! I thought the game's theme is hope...well where is it now?

The best outcome is for Shepard to ****** everyone off so they don't help...charge in alone and die. The end.

Errr...what?  I thought they were some of the best fitting...Ashley felt like she could use some work in my opinion.  Especially some of her non-cutscene dialogue.  But that's just me.  Overall, fantastic game...except ending(s).

ARRGGG! The quarian fleet is at earth, HOW ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO GET TO THEIR PLANET!? They have most of the fleet there, with their food ships and most of their tech. Even if the ships don't matter, the quarians that put thier lives on the line have to spend the rest of their lives in their suits after given the hope of a home world again. Also they don't have enough food or supplies to last that long anyway. The turians in the fleet near earth are bones as well.

I HATE THIS!

Garrus is never
ever
ever
ever out of place.

And when he is, he makes it hilariously awesome.

Garrus, upon seeing a bomb inside an elevator shaft

"Oh, crap."

Yep, all your squadmates have all these hopes and dreams and plans for the future, but instead they all get stuck on the random jungle planet. Great ending to the characters we've been through three games with.

Tthey felt perfect, are you kidding!? Both were with you since the beginning, and there is even a special dialogue scene stating this. More so than anyone else, they have been seeking to gain recognition of the Reaper threat (Garrus tries to tel C-Sec and starts a task force, Tali does something that convinces every quarian in ME:Ascension), and fight for the people. Since you are the only person competent to fight the reapers and unite the galaxy, they naturally come with you.

Also, they're the two greatest characters in the series.

On that note, it's really too bad I won't be seeing my Garrusmance (I'd planned for it to be my second playthrough) unless they fix the endings. I've heard good things.

Everyone assumes that travel is impossible now that the relays are gone, but the Reapers made their way around without a relay. It'll just take a couple of years for the Quarians to get back to Rannoch.

More like a couple of hundred years. Reapers are fast. And we don't know how much distance they had to travel.
Quarians have half the galaxy to roam. And if the in-game fuel system is anything representative, to fly accross ONE system is enough to run out of fuel.
So good luck to them.

The Quarian homeworld is on the otherside of the galaxy. It would take forever to get back to their home. Only reason the Reapers could do it is because they live forever. All the currect Quarians would be long dead.

I didn't think so. If anything it was the Virmire survivor and James that felt like forced presences. I guess it just boils down to how you played the game.

Lol, that's a joke right? They were both critical to the main plots.

No the best outcome is to die in Mass Effect 2 and let the **** hit the fan in 3 and know nothing about it.

Oh look. A bunch of nerdy obsessed Tali/Garrus fans telling me that the objects of their obsession are important.

Very objective information.

It comes down to this. Bioware is giving the finger to ALL the galaxy in ME3.

They are like.. You had happy things finally happen for you? Well to damn bad. We are going to strand you on Earth or some other random planet, and you can never ever get home. Have a nice day.

That is what bioware did with ME3. Anyone that defends this "story" has no clue about anything ME, and probably started with ME3.

See, this is the BSN I'm used to.  Why couldn't we have good endings so we could all demean and insult one another like usual?

Can we also assume that every ship in the fleet was disabled like the normand? Remember joker was trying to outrun the Blast in the normandy.

So not only are the quarians stuck on Earth, but also there are no ships.

How many people died in space after the crucible was activated?
