Im sure people realise already that there if you went and destroyed the reapers with 4000-5000 readiness score, you aparently show signs of life under rubble, whether or not its on the citadel or back down at the transportation beam is confusing.

Obviously the whole point of the farce of an ending that people believe to be the ending is that it puts them in a mode of anger, just ripe for soothing as bioware one ups people with their plan.

The only confusing part ofcourse is the normandy escaping, however that may just be going along with the nonsensical nature of the ending, a false sense of closure and trying to confuse deliberately.

Bioware will play their card soon enough.

You dont goto the effort of adding two videos of Femshep and Manshep's chest moving, just to ignore it.

It also explains the lack of public relations at the moment, though that could be any reason.

While I want to believe you, I find your optimism naive.

"Naughty sleeve" sounds like a euphemism for a condom.

There's no public relations because every post would be followed by 500 replies asking what the hell happened with the ending. Justified replies, mind you; but annoying none the less.

There may be some naive remarks about it, however i dont see the logic in having all that hope up until the last moment destroyed, yet added back in with the "alive" sequence.

There is more to it frankly.

Will they continue Shepard's story when it's so hard to get them to survive? 80% of the people who play the game will never get that cutscene.

I think the lack of public reaction from Bioware at the moment has more to do with the weekend, and less with a nefarious plan. Then again, they DID release that ****hole ending-- so it could be anything.

If they even bother to allow us to import a ME3 save into ME4, all they have to do is set it so far in the future so he dies of old age or leave him an injured war hero unable to fight. It's nothing big.

I wouldn't doubt it. They'll probably make some DLC endings knowing some fools will flock over to buy it. Yes, yes, continue supporting unfinished content!

Except that even though you're showing signs of life under the rubble that makes no sense at all since the Sol relay went critical along with every other relay in every relay system in the galaxy.

Even if the Sol relay explosion didn't take out the entire solar system like the Bahat relay did, it would have vaporized the outer planets at the very least, pushing gigantic amounts of high velocity material into the inner solar system which would have destroyed any surviving life on Earth and Mars anyways due to the collisions.

So the whole scene of Shep suddenly taking a breath makes no sense anyways. And it only applies to one ending, and in that ending you destroy everything anyways so whats to recover?

Answer is...nothing. Let it die. They killed it, its dead, Jim.

That entire sequence never happened, it was so nonsensical it couldnt have, it had to be a near death experience, its got a godly figure, its got a ray of light ascending you to what you could say is heaven, the citadels arms opening could be an interpretation of gods hand, its all far to much like it to be anything else.

@SLPro

In response to your sig, I am inclined to agree, with the caveat that it is not to late for Bioware to fix the endings, thereby saving the Mass Effect franchise.

I really hope they pull through on this one, but my more rational side says, "not a chance in hell".

I have no idea how they can ever top the Reapers as a "bad guy". Anything else they come up with will feel forced and unnatural.  But we'll see.
