Its time to wake up to reality. BW/EA are into profits, and they couldn't care less about your opinion if you've already bought their product. They will however give a damn if your opinion affects their ability to make future profits. And from the looks of things, I think it will happen.

In order to get them to change the endings, we the consumers must ensure that our anger towards the poor ME3 endings will result in:

1. Future ME3-related DLC not selling well

2. Future ME: universe tie-ins e.g. the movie and anime not selling well

3. Other BW/EA games not selling well.

#1 is almost guaranteed if the DLC content doesnt affect the endings (because who would pay more to decorate their own coffin?). #2 remains to be seen.

For #3, I play SW:TOR, and I already have 6 people in my guild cancelling because of their anger towards ME3 and Bioware in general. It doesn't make sense I know, but its affecting my gameplay experience in TOR, and if this keeps up, I may quit too.

It's always about the money.

EA-Bioware just took a hot steamy dump on their DLC revenues with the endings they have.

Why spend $10 on DLC when whatever you choose isn't going to effect the outcome of the game?

And that is why a fix to the endings is highly likely.

...or they may just choose to let the franchise go the way of Duke Nukem Forever...

Not only will it effect nothing, it's pointless. Everything you do will be doomed to failure.

It also would cost a significantly higher amount of money to create alternative endings. It could go either way... nothing is set in stone.

This is the only reason I see new endings happening. It could prove very profitable for them. I know that I'd buy them and I'm sure I'm not alone.

Hell I freely admit I'd pay for new end DLC. I'd even pay for new Star Wars prequels with more battle Yoda and less midichlorians. I wouldn't be happy about either but I'd buy them.

I sincerely hope you are right. I will admit to gladly paying money to Bioware for a dlc that contains a more satisfying ending. If not for us, at least do it for the revenue...

Exactly, that's why I've said from the beginning they'll lose me as a customer - but I'm giving them a chance to make right before that happens. I don't know, I think that's fair. I'm reaching out trying to reason with them.
