So, I made a Mage just to see how an AW worked. They seem like they could be awesome coupled with SH for more of a defensive paladin or cleric type, or a BM for more of a blackguardy (minus the rogue) or Shadowknight type. I'm going to remake a mage to try this out and figure out which spec I want to try first, but how have you guys delt with the fatigue sky rocketing from the armor? I've thought of a few ways to try and deal with it, but haven't really settled, and I'm sure there are better out there.
First, is just to wear a robe and just wear a helmet/gloves/boots. That's cool, but no set bonus. =/ Not that it's a deal breaker, but the bonus helps a bit.
2nd, a leather set, since the leather set bonus is reduced fatigue. But how high will your defense ever get doing so, and how much does it actually reduce fatigue by (I don't really expect a solid number for this, if even an answer at all)?
And a shield...sheesh. The defense here, DEFINITELY, isn't worth the fatigue hit. So I've settled with either being 2 handed, or daul wield, but haven't figured out which.
I think I checked at one point, and I'm not entirely sure, but I believe my fatigue was 80.x%. That basically left me with enough mana, after all my sustained abilities, to cast one crushing prison, or a death cloud and maybe a walking bomb or two.
Defense and Fatigue with AW -- a balance?
