Considering you can get a quad core processor for about 100-150 and a 1GB 4870 for 150-175 dollars...They did a good job of making this game run well on mid-range machines.

Hmmm... those pics look all overblown with saturation. Wish they had some real screenshots from the final release instead of the ones from EA...

Yeah, thanks for posting that, akcorr. A useful resource. Sounds like I might have been a bit optimistic about the settings my 9800 could handle.
