Here's why I dislike the ending; besides it just being annoying by being contradictory and non-sensical, the ending literally destroys the entire universe's lore by killing the Mass relays.  The entire universe of characters, relationships, technology, races, relations, etc. I came to love has been completely ruined by this game's final, confusing ending.

The strange Normandy planet crash landing doesn't make a lot of sense.

Is the kid a VI representing the intelligence that is the Citadel?  That's the only way it makes sense.  Otherwise he's just some spirit or something....I don't know.  There are too many things that make no sense about this.

But the world being ruined is the worst.  It makes me feel annoyed for having ever played this series of games, honestly, I invested emotion into this the way I would any compelling story and this gigantic, unexplainable middle finger in the form of a spirit child is what I get in return.

You've got some very well supported opinions and the post you've written was interesting to read. I ask that you consolidate your thoughts into one of the mega threads to be sure that it is read.
