There's something that bothers me about this whole thing. At this point it's nitpicking, but I find it incredibly annoying.

We're already on the ground this was just a parting kick to the head

... pretty much.

And people wonder why she irritates the hell out of me.

I think bioware solved a serious dilemma in the best possible way. There were always going to be more possible romance partners than there were permanent ME3 squadmates. Given this fact, the best way they could have handled it was to let Shepard romance folks outside the squad, and I don't know that it would be possible to make all those relationships as deep as the squadmate ones. I was with Miranda first time, and I didn't mind it.

I've just been on my date with Kaidan, so I'd have to agree with the OP. But I have another playthrough romancing Thane, and that's proving so much better than I thought it would.

But they should have made James romanceable - that would have been great! Freddy Prinze Jnr needs to do more voice work!

I think the Jacob romancers should demand a refund, tbh!

Tali was totally worth it.

Indeed. But what the OP really meant was for the characters that aren't fully fledged squad mates in ME3.

ME2 love interest includes tali... and OP says nothing about full fledged squad mates.

No regrets, my friend! As my Shepard said to Miranda "Things will never be easy for us. But I'll always want you in my life."

I completely agree. I hate Liara too so it's even more of a punch to the stomach.

There is no excuse for Jacob romance. And it feels borderline...uncomfortable stereotyping.

It would be more 'acceptable' if there was a female equivalent, a romance that just doesn't work out for Shep. But there isn't.

Was waiting for this song to start playing once I found out about Jacob's affair. The only satisfaction I got was getting to call him a bastard to his face.

Wait. Wait wait wait. Waaaait.

A FemShep who romanced Jacob then finds out he had an affair doesn't even get to tell him off for it?

...hahahaha, Jacobmancers' lives suck.

We don't even get romance dialog when we meet him on the Citadel!

I think only Miri's and Jack's are the only romance what went well even if they were a tad short. Knew Jacob couldn't handle Shepard. Thane's just sad.

But Garrus and Tali are good. Haven't seen Tali's but I liked Garrus'

I romanced Kaidan in ME1, then happily jumped into Garrus' arms in ME2, and then spent all of ME3 turning Kaidan down over and over and over again. And over. And over and over. It sort of felt like kicking a puppy :(

What made me feel better, though, was that he was a total jackass in our ME2 reunion, and then at the beginning of 3 he wouldn't shut up about how I must be a Cerberus spy, so I felt a bit better about telling him where to shove it. Plus the Garrus romance scenes were just so wonderful <3

I regret nothing.

I just wish there was more than what I got.

The Liara flashback instead of your ME2 LI.

Maybe the actual ending left me so confused that I completely forgot about it... But I actually romanced Liara and I don't remember a flashback at all during the end.

Bug? Or bad memory?

Really? At the end you have three flashbacks, first Joker, then Anderson and finally, supposedly, your LI.

Ya know. If said LI was in ME1. :pinched:

So did I. So did I. :(

Not a bug, though. They didn't include any video files of the other LIs. They were just lazy on this. So they figured, I guess, we'd all be happy to see our favorite asari instead of the LI. Which is unfortunate, because I was just starting to like her, and now I hate her again.
