he just sat there dumb looking out the widow.
That in turns makes me want to go kick BW right in the daddy bags for say that stupid line and not allowing my Shep to reply is a continuation of the near kiss scene and further develops their feelings, and offers a continuation of Samara LI, and gives just as much resolution as the other romances.
LIES BS ALL OF IT. NOW I truly despise that stupid lame bipolar Mcguffen BW Pet Liara

The only thing that rustles my jimmies (besides the lack of anything past the end) is the lack of a Tali flashback at the end. First it's Anderson. Ok, he gave up his ship, stuck out being a councilor for one game, was a badass in the third. Groovy. Joker, yeah he got me spaced but was pretty much also always there. Hell, really cared when Shep lost his cool after Thessia and helped calm him. Also groovy. Then Liara. Alright, the Shadow Broker, very helpful. Then... what? That's it? But... but... Tali was the person my Shep was fighting for and loved for two games and... nothing? Huh?
Luckily the rage only set in much later.

Quoted for truth.
I do not regret choosing Thane but I regret trusting BioWare not to screw over sections of their own fanbase. What they did to Thane in ME3 is a source of endless disappointment, sadness & anger.

Yeah... despite being entirely designed FOR WOMEN TO THE POINT WHERE THEY ASKED EVERY FEMALE IN THE OFFICE prior to ME2 what they wanted to see in a guy.

Yup, someone from bioware admitted that the writers "dropped the ball" with Thane's romance. When they got done with most of his scenes they realized too late that "Gee, didn't people romance him?....oops" by that point it was too late for them to alter things so they tacked on some "siha's" and an awkward kiss and hoped for the best. Even if they didn't come clean about it it's still very obvious that they forgot he was an LI
- There is no paramour achievement
- Thane is NOT mentioned in the codex or as a romance option in the guide
- A romanced shep tells him she's there to see the VS at the hospital like she's just stopping by (not like he's more important *face palm*)
- How awkward the fade to black moment felt (like it was tacked on)
- Shepard not acting like she lost a loved one (the crew don't even talk about his death)
- Barely ANY difference in dialogue between a romanced and non-romanced shep
- Shep leaves her LI there to bleed out like she doesn't even love him
and mostly importantly
- The complete retcon of his character development if you romanced him previously ("Hey shepard! I'm totally accepting about my death now! Derp!")

I'm honestly sorry for you guys. It really sucks.
The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced almost everything was rushed in this game. They needed more time.

I agree with everything else you list but this one. I'm sorry, it really bugs me whenever someone brings this up. It's like people want Shepard to forget that she's a soldier and put Thane above everything and everyone else.
Kai Leng was going to kill the Council and even Thane encourages her to go stop him.
It did annoy me the first time I played, but thinking realistically at the most she could have taken a couple of seconds to give him some medigel. For her to stop everything, even drop her composure at a time like that would have been disastrous and would have upset me more.

It was just cold the way she ran past him after he got stabbed without even stopping to see if he's alive. Then he had to drag himself up and limp after her only to slump against a wall as he bleeds out and the best Shepard can muster is a brusque "Is it bad?"
They treated him like a random NPC Shep had never met before for all the concern she showed. The most she does is ask Bailey to bring help then she turns her back on Thane without a word and leaves without looking back. There's no guarantee she'll even see him alive again. It was horrible.I found it as insulting as the fact that Shepard and the squad just stood by like three useless lumps while Thane tried to fight off Kai Leng on his own.

That was just insulting on it's own. Four heavily armed commandos and Kai Leng gets away because they stand there and stare at him while Thane knocks him on his butt and no one shoots him?

Jacob's was just ugly. Did the writers know any minorities they could run his mission by? Just to see if the writing might have been offensive? As stated, him dumping Shep in six months AND getting another woman pregnant was borderline stereotypical. Just because he didn't have as many fans like the other LIs doesn't mean his character deserved that. He could have been easily fixed.
In any case, all LI's should have had a Liara quality romance in ME3. Furthermore, they should have had plot armor. Thane dies if not romanced/loyal, but you could save him if he was. Jacob doesn't move on to another woman if romance.

It's not Jack's fault BioWare gave her a full redesign and still decided to keep her sidelined.
Actually, her romance needs one final act, as I'd imagine most do.
My other male Shep romanced Miranda. Again, no regrets, even if I haven't gone through ME3 with that romance yet.

I romanced Garrus and I'm quite satisfied with his romance, but what Bioware did with Miranda, Thane or Jacob romances is just insulting.

Katelynn Shepard: i like women.
Ashely: i am happy for you?
K.S.: i-i love you
A: Whoah, sorry ma'am but you do not have the equipment for me. in other words, I AM STRAIGHT, so no getting into my pants.
K.S.: oh, okay then.
(Katelynn is my fem!Shepard, and i did not save Ash on my playthrough w/genesis)
anyways, it is up to preference, if you want an ME2 romance continuation, go for it.
