Not only that, I think 'cannibalism' will be the norm too. Garrus has to eat.

in my game she gets to pick from Joker and EDI. Since all life is now both synthetic and organic BECAUSE SCIENCE, I'm assuming EDI and Liara can make babies.

Maybe they will have a three way and Joker will die of breaking all his bones.

Actually having Asari children is about the only way to viably sustain a population that size. Since -technically- I think an Asari could scramble its own DNA by interfacing with a squirrel. Having a stable population that will live for centuries would also allow the retention of skills and oral traditions a lot more properly than that silly little post ending thing implied.

It's pretty much Liara's job to have lots of children. Otherwise no one is ever going to get rescued.

Sucks for you guys then. My normandy crew didn't survive the crash in my playthrough, so they're all in video game heaven now.

In the best of circumstances, EDI would have databases of DNA for multiple species on file, and could synthesize semen (or its alien counterpart) for any child-capable females on the ship.

...right? *imagines EDI in the lab making a jar of Quarian splooge*
