Does anyone have a vid where you don't tell Wrex about the genophage, then initially try to convince Mordin not to cure it, and then take the "I was wrong," option there at the end, which I assume lets him take it?

I don't have a vid, but I did that on my Shepard. I was really torn on whether or not to cure the genophage but Mordin shouting "I made a mistake!" won my Shep over.

Then he goes into the elevator and says "Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong." then cures the genophage and goes out singing.

I'll never see that scene in game, personally, but once again, I'm amazed at the writing for most of this game.

Shepard throwing the pistol away in disgust at the end... Mordin spending his last breaths reaching to rectify his mistake, and coming up just short.

I did this. It was the most powerful moment in the game, I wasn't expecting it nor did I really want to do it but I would not cure the genophage and I wanted the Salarian fleet as well. It seemed possible under Wrex that the Krogan could become a more functional component of intra galactic society, but I didn't believe it. They are too prone to violence.

Holy **** that was amazing!

Seriously, how can a game with this much variety in its scenarios, so many choices and consequences, so much emotional impact and sheer brilliance have ended in such utter failure?

I simply cannot comprehend how this scene, and it's equally excellent alternatives can exist in the same game as those unimaginative, emotionless, miserable, plot hole ridden pieces of garbage endings.

You and me both. The scenes involving the cure together with the awesome soundtrack and actually difficult choice is better than i ever imagined! Then we come to the endings and... no words exist to describe them. Waste of time and energy is too nice to describe them

I'm still trying to mentally sort out how we go from an awesome right to the most baffling endings for a great series. I mean, seriously. Even though I would never pick a renegade option for that particular moment it just goes to show how powerful the entire scene was. It's just extremely confusing when you go from that to the final 10 minutes of the game that completely blasts everything into a black hole.

Wait, wait, so I read that you have to kill Wrex if you do this.

Holy **** that's evil

When I started my Renegade-Shep up from my ME2 save, I was sad. Mordin had died in the Suicide Mission. I was too lazy to play through the entire ME2 ending again, so I let him stay dead.

I am infinitely glad that I made that choice. Because shooting some other salarian up an elevator was so much easier than doing it to Mordin.

That ending still had an impact, even if it wasn't Mordin. Plus the way Shepard reacts is priceless.

Can never do it. I trust my friends more than I care to listen to Dallatras plan. I tell Wrex the first time I have the chance, even that was interrupted, I don't fail to tell hime the second time.

I know Mordin will die. He has to he knew it but he knew his responsibility. He has created it so he will end it. Regardless of your moral inclination, Genophage curing scene was one of the best in Mass Effect.

The other scene that made me shed tears is when Legion dropped to get the Geth fully evolved, Prime walked towards your team and offered help. That was amazing it was extremely rewarding to see your effort paid off............. only to be ruined by the ending.
